Time to stock up....

Food, booze, and medication stores will still be open.

That’s really all that’s essential in the grand scheme right now.

Bring it on. I could use a few slow weeks at work right now. It’s insanely busy. That tells a tale in itself.

I wonder if it will be as bad/strict as the March 2020 lockdown.
Imagine the mental health repurcussions that will arise from this - lockdown in the peak of brutal Winter (especially Feb).

Crazy to think its almost been a year...since.
2020 only had 3 months lol: January, February and Marchember

How is this any different than march asking seriously. Nothing shut then nothing shut now. Biggest difference I see now is the large manufacturing plants voluntarily shut down then they will not be doing that again.

Schools open this time.

Outdoor ice rinks in my area are dropping like flies. Official policy is no hockey, only 10 people on ice at a time. Every single time I looked at a rink there were 10 to 30 people playing hockey and/or huddling together. Municipality has started shutting them down.

well we certainly didn't shutdown operations..

Less toilet paper hoarding? This will just cause more people to into stores within shorter hours again. 8pm at home essential stores will be jammed.
there are already lineups after work, i've started getting groceries at lunch.

If we need something really urgently I just go at 7am to the nearest Walmart. Wife works part time so she can go during the day to a Costco or Starsky.

I've used those special delivery rates that Walmart offers from time to time.
$7.xx for delivering a boatload of groceries at the hour I specify the following day...saves me a good 2 hours of my time and I dont need to go to the store for the next two weeks.

Haven't been in a grocery store since March personally just order online. Drive to the store after work they put them in the truck and home I go. May never go in a grocery store again.

I'd like to see the prick fired from the $600K job running hospitals. Maybe feeling like a restaurant employee is fitting.
Small step forward. Niagara health ended their contract purchasing CEO services from St Joes. St. Joes BOD now has been hurt financially and had their reputation damaged by this turd. Hopefully they have some stones and fry him at the stake. If his parachute is too big, just put out a press release (only containing facts) that discusses the type of person he is to undermine all future employment opportunities.

“For the last six years, Niagara Health has had a contractual agreement with St. Joseph’s Health System. Among other collaboration initiatives such as joint programs and services, the agreement provided for Niagara Health to purchase CEO services from St. Joseph’s Health System such that the organizations shared a joint CEO,” the statement read.

“The Board of Directors of Niagara Health have decided to end the purchase of CEO services within the agreement effective immediately.”

Lost in today's other news was that in terms of officially recorded coronavirus deaths per million citizens, the USA has overtaken Spain.

The UK, on the other hand, is in rough shape because of the new more-infectious mutation that is rampant there.
