Did I miss anything?
Is there something you do like about this thread and the forum to keep you coming back?
not sure where you got most of that from my posts, actually.
You don't like the baby pills.
no i don't, but most people don't.
You don't like how people reacted to the baby pills.
nope, i have no problem with how most people reacted to the pills. it's the people who decided to use it as justification for decrying an entire group of people and culture, that i have difficulty with.
You don't like people criticizing mainland China.
nope, patently untrue. i criticize mainland china all the time. i have a lot of problems with their government, how they pollute the environment, their criminal treatment of workers, exploitation of migrant workers, etc.
You don't like people disagreeing with you.
nope, people disagree with me all the time. couldn't care less.
You don't like people, especially mods making jokes about baby pills.
nope, i think i've already explained the issue i had with the joke--it perpetuates the idea by some members that their ignorance, racism, and/or hate is condoned.
You don't like the way this site is moderated.
generally, i have no issue with how the forum is moderated, but this thread, and a few others, definitely demonstrate that the rules, whatever they may be, are unevenly applied.
i think more than anything, i wonder if someone fresh to riding were to sign up with this site and this was the first thread they read, could they walk away with the idea that we are a community of small-minded xenophobes? it's amazing to think that if the same people were to spout in public the idea that so-and-so country should be wiped off the map that they would be censored for hate speech, but that when it's written here, it's somehow okay.
