7 personal days and 6 sick days. All Federal employees got 10 sick days (if I'm not mistaken), so the union wants to negotiate to get those 4 applied to us as well.
On top of holidays.
But CP aren’t federally employees really are they , crown Corp sure , but they pay corporate taxes and run like a real business , sort of . We want autonomy, but all the benefit stuff too .

Apply that to every gov worker, this is just par for the course. The rest got their bump, everyone else is following.

They're either used, or an employee is paid out; there is limited carry over permitted.

I get that, but women have a whole different set of health related issues, which require more attention then guys do.
One of the places I worked at part of the staff would be regularly sick each month...
And yet we get told to suck it up when we get the man flu.
We had female employees too. Wasn't a problem.
The Squeeze rarely missed a day.
