I really doubt that would happen. After all, bringing a gun to council would require planning and forethought, neither of which either brother has evidenced.

Amen.. While it's stupid easy for them to get their hands on some guns from their gangbanger friends and certainly cheaper than through legitimate channels, getting them through security would take a bit of thinking.

So, my buddy was listening to the CBC interview last night and apparently Ford's claiming he's found Jesus now?

This ought to be good.

No, a "come to Jesus moment." In other words an awakening. If you heard the interview last night, then you heard his interview with Stephen Ledrew this afternoon. He's obviously found the "gravy train" meme for his personal issues. Now he'll beat it to death.

So, in an interview today, he said that he hasn't touched a drop of alcohol in 3 weeks. But just 2 weeks ago during his last 1010 radio show, he said that that quitting drinking was not reasonable, that he just needed to cut back a bit.

Also, the timeline he gave about his last drug use conflicts with police report about when the crack video was made.

Yup, he said more than a year ago. Police say it was last February. His reply was, "What video? Show it to me."

I sure hope that his supporters will eventually realize that he deserves to be treated just like he wants to treat everyone else.

Might want to find some high return investments for when the city needs it later, as there's 3 years of neglect and waste to catch up on.

This is something I have a problem with. He is not a normal regular person, he is the mayor or Canada's largest city who is suppose to provide leadership to the MILLIONS of citizens. What if there was a disaster while he was blacked out drunk like a 9/11 New York type event? If he is not in a fit state to react or can not be made that way quickly he is not fit to hold the responsibility of mayor. Yes he is held to a higher standard, that's part of the job. If he is not willing to accept that he should not have accepted the office and the responsibility. If he was just a normal regular person he would have been sacked the first time he was drunk at his place of employment. If he was just a normal regular person I would not care if he was passed out drunk in a gutter cause frankly I really don't care much for people in general.

Speaking as a fiscal conservative (small c there) he has saved the City nothing. Cancellation penalties from the canceled LRTs are in the millions for nothing. We are going to be hit with a tax hike to pay for a subway in the coming year that really wasn't warranted for the population density and the neglect of the infrastructure, including the cancelled EA of the Gardiner and all the 100year old rusted out iron pipes in the ground, just delayed massive capital investment. We still have WOODEN combined sewers!

Dude WTF are you talking about, I don't need any ******* politician providing me with leadership, that being Rob Ford or anyone else.

They are there to make decisions in regards to issues that will affect our lives and the amount of money we put in our pockets, for that to me he is doing a good job, for everything else, I had parents that raised me already and I don't need "leadership" from anyone
