The problem is that this kind of news gets posted all over the world. That's what Toronto becomes 'famous' for. Personally, I don't want anything to do with such 'fame'.Btw I did post a link to the actual article. You were just too lazy to click on it.

This isn't the playground its a city council meeting. There is no situation where his brother should be getting into a fight or that the Mayor should run accross the floor knocking another councillor over giving her a fat lip. What was the Mayor going to do when he got there? Throw some punches? The Fords have no place governance since they can't even govern basic emotions.

Nope, I knew exactly what happened so there is no need for me to click on the link. My point was not even specifically about you but I am not going to waste my time explaining that again.

I listened to the person in charge of bringing outside business into Toronto (can't remember the tittle) that person said he is not concerned, that business owners are smart enough to realize this will pass, what they are interested in knowing is if the city will continue doing its business and tending to the problems while this "crisis" is in place.

You should listen to some of the other counselors, I will say that if behavior during counselors meetings is your measuring tool to determine who is a good civil servant, you are **** out of luck, may as well don't ever vote again

Anyways, at least we are discussing the meeting and not just pulling vane opinions out of our *****. time to drive home

Because that's just a delaying tactic. His personal healthy is only a small part of the equation, the fact that he has lost the confidence of just about everyone in the city except for a few remaining dunces is the big issue as far as the operation of council is concerned.

At this point everyone is acting like petulant little children; turning their backs on each other, whining about perceived threats.... Next thing you'll hear is Minnan-Wong crying that Rob Ford is on his side of the car seat.

And I can already see next week's SNL Rob Ford sketch. He'll be sitting in the council chambers wearing an Argos jersey. He'll see Doug with some powdered sugar Timbits and, thinking that they're crack, he'll charge across the room and take out a bunch of little old lady councilors in the process.

There was no fight to go 'rescue' his brother from, Rob was just itching for a brawl because he's a thug. Look at his face when he starts running, he can't wait to start swinging. Like mimico said, like a kid in a playground.

By the way it was Pam McConnell who got knocked over.
