Looking at that list I see a lot of stuff that Ford has been accused of and that could happen, down the line. The story ain't over yet.

Didn't Miller demolish the Gardiner? Did he become the first mayor to do so in N.A.?

Anyway, I pity you poor people, you're about to become poorer with the unions running the city now.

The first to do what; allow bridges to fall apart? It's an old standard, among governments. Look at Quebec and, especially, Montreal. Look at most of the larger American cities.

I find this whole thread very amusing. The majority of people here making the most noise also don't live here and can't vote for the guy one way or another. I'll bet the majority of people in this thread that actually live in this city are still in favour of ford as mayor. Just a fun observation... carry on.

I live in Toronto. I didn't vote for this guy and I won't vote for him next fall either (not saying that he is better than other candidates, like that thief Smitherman). I think he is a disgrace and not worth of representing our city on national/international level. He also made a lot of promises, but didn't come through on most of them (again, we have seen worse - i.e. for 2 terms McGuinty kept promising people something, and actually did the opposite of what he promised, still got re-elected). We'll see who will be running for mayor come next fall. For now, like someone already said, sit back and enjoy watching this train wreck unravel.

I read the last 2 pages trying to find out what happened at the Counselors meeting and to hear people's opinions on the decision, but instead just a bunch of bla bla bla, why not discuss what happens and the news instead of a having bunch of dick size measuring contests.

Okay!! anyways, some of the counselors are saying that as much as they don't agree wiht Rob Ford's behavior, taking his powers away is illegal

Counsel denied a motion to have Ford examined by a doctor and determine if he is fit to continue doing his job, if the Doctor say yes then they had to separate the personal from the professional and let him do his job, if the Doctor's says he is not fit, then have legislative laws that already exist remove him. Wonder why they denied the motion, seem like a good one, maybe because this is more political than really about Toronto.

Listening to these counselors, some of them really are idiots, I find some of the behavior of these people worse than smoking crack

Some of these counselors are acting like little kids in a playground fighting over candy....idiots. Although I must admit this makes me more interested in politics in order to find out who is NOT an idiot on our city council.

This is the kind of crap that make news. He thought his brother was getting into an altercation and he ran towards him, as he ran he managed to push Fletcher, he didn't "knock down" anyone.

if you see your brother getting into a fight wouldn't you run his way and probably unintentionally push someone out of your way? please! everyone likes a headline
