Bye Bye Tommy boy Ford kicked out!!

Just want to say thanks to peterm15 and fastar1 for conducting a well laid out and informative discussion here. I thoroughly enjoyed following along.

There's a great article in this weeks (totally biased anti-Ford) NOW Magazine on the fiasco that was Gene Jones. Leaves me with one burning question: what does a 2 million dollar office renovation look like?

I tend to disagree. Given recent history it would seem that the only requirement would be the pint. Or six.

Those Jamaicans don't look white to me. Plus that famous photo with the drug dealers are far from white.

Ford never saw them as his equal. Now, before you reply with "oh, but we can't know that for sure"... Did you hear the voice recording that the Sun obtained? Ford calling racial epithets to people in their faces as they were drinking?

Of course, if you don't mind people calling you derogatory, pejorative names based in your ethnicity, then you may enjoy your pint with Rob Ford very much.

Put aside for a moment Rob Ford's public intoxication, drunken stupors leading to crack use, associations with criminals, bullying behaviour, and proven lies; and think about what comes out of his mouth. It would surely be undesirable in a common average Joe, but for an elected high official?

My impression is that Rocker Guy wants to drink with him for the entertainment value alone. Why spend money at a comedy club? With Rob it's dinner and a show. Personally I can't stand the guy, but I'd love to see him in action first hand. You know, just to see, 'cause I still shake my head in disbelief.
 
If Rob ford made his own provincial party full of crack heads ... I would vote for it knowing that they can't mismanage the government worst than what the current clowns are doing. The clown's current alternatives are no better than the clowns.
 
IMO, Rob Ford is not the problem. The problem is that there are still some people who would vote for such a deeply flawed (in so many ways) person.

I think that you're close with that, but not quite there yet. That's just a symptom, in my opinion, of the real problem that is people are so frustrated with the choices that they have in elections, that a drunken, crack smoking misogynist is the better choice of the lot.

Yep. We know they all lie, cheat and steal. Atleast we know what we get with Ford for the most part.

No, not true. We know what he say's, like all the rest, but then we see/find out what he actually does. Politically speaking, he's lied and misled with the best of 'em.
