You can be turned back at the border for any reason, or no reason at all. Someone likely watched some of the late night shows and figured that the USofA already has enough crackheads. Interesting that they would do it to someone who owns a business down there though.
And therein lies the issue. He's lied every step of the way, so far. Why would anyone believe him now?

Hollywood types and politicians who do the rehab route pretty much do press conferences on the steps of the Betty Ford Clinic, to show that they've "changed." There's a reason for that.

Bingo!! he has given an interview in the Sun today of how awesome rehab is, and is still fielding calls. He wont disclose where he is, but he's making great progress already...........

I've seen enough episodes of intervention, where if he's saying rehab is awesome, I'm inclined to believe he's not in rehab

Can't say that I've ever heard of a rehab in which you're permitted to possibly maintain communication with people who might be part of your problem either.
I wonder if that's "was not denied entry, per se" in the same way that one might be "asked to quit" in order to avoid being fired?
Part of his dependance cycle is public 'redemption' through the media. As long as he's doing interviews, he will never get better.

I think that's true for commercial flights, but he was on a private plane.

Now brother Douggie is saying that Rob's doctor is telling the media to lay off him, because it's bad for the other patients. One might wonder how that could be, given that no one knows where he is!

I heard this and was very confused how the media had anything at all to do with the other patients or how other patients, if there are any, could be influenced, given they don't have a location or attending physician's name.
