The hour long video makes it look like like elbow grease, a can of paint and a few parts gets you out on the lake.
What the video doesn't mention is that the fiberglass hull is 65 years old and is as structurally sound as a nicely painted egg shell. Fiberglass naturally weakens over time. Flexing from hitting waves weakens it more, freeze thaw cycles and UV add to the damage.
If I wanted that boat of that type to actually use I would have done a deck off restoration adding new glass and resin on the inside (Adding weight).
I don't like bow riders in big waters. Fifteen seconds into the next video shows why. I don't know when the captain noticed the passenger going over the side. I don't know if she was trying to selfie her own drowning but fortunately a jet ski was there.
