blackberry 10

lol I know what you mean. Buddy of mine at work here is a religious fanboy. I can't say anything negative about apple

Just remind him gently, that they'll be late to the watch party as well when they release the iWatch. Pebble and others have already released.

Typical ******** response, don't actually read what I'm saying, just run to defend bb's honour. I've owned 3 bb phones, every single one crapped out after a year. Switched to iphone and haven't had a problem in a year since I've owned it.

I'm just pointing out how a phone not working at all is a much bigger deal than apparent battery life issues. You can't justifiably compare the two. Like I said, just accepting that these things will happen cause the phone is new doesn't make sense to me. You are still paying premium dollar for what apparently is a gaurenteed inferior product for at least a few months.

None of this new **** matters to me though. I don't bother buying a new phone until my old one craps out. If it works, don't fix it is how I look at it. I didn't even bother updating my phone because I heard they got rid of google maps and I knew the apple maps would be garbage at first.

LOL they didn't crap out, u smashed them haha. But blackberry is out da game son that's like rocking a phone with a keyboard...

IT AINT GONNA HAPPEN

LOL, that's great

wait for it...

iphone..... the phone for screwing up your business.

I don't know whats going on in the halls of Cupertino, but they really need to get their act together.

"Businesses of all sizes limiting or blocking iOS devices"

"iOS 6.1 devices are hammering Exchange servers with excessive traffic, causing performance slowdowns that led Microsoft to suggest a drastic fix for the most severe cases: throttle traffic from iOS 6.1 users or block them completely......"

iPhone is for Angry Birds and tippy tippy beer glass apps, we all know that! Who is seriously using it for business?

People who are tellers and call themselves bankers and arrogant interns in the film industry who work for free

I think it's time BB just gave up it's 1% of the market to whoever else is better (everyone apparently) and stop trying to cling to a sinking ship. The only thing they are good at is making the top ten worst phones list on all the tech websites.

I played with the Z10 today and it's an absolute failure IMO. It's like a phone from 2007 pretending to be a phone from 2010.

BB just sits back and copies everything else, poorly, and then tries to hype their garbage product up hoping for..... a miracle apparently.

Epic failure of a phone.

BTW SunnY S. Apple might be late to the party on the gimmicky iWatch but at least the were invited. I'm sure they will be the best at that as well. BB stayed at home alone again and masturbated into its hand.

Take all the digs you can at #1 while you can. A 1% share of the CAN/US market isn't even worth keeping the lights on for.

Not impressed with their Navigation solution, nor their lack of Language support for some Languages.
This Z10 does some things well, and some things are straight out of 2006.

FFS, the 3GS has better language support and that thing came out in 2009.

Not *everyone* feels the same way as you do......

"After more than two years, Windows Phone still claims less than 3% of market share. BlackBerry 10 will be launching here in the US soon and I think they will increase their share to 3rd place and may even pass iOS in a couple years."

"BlackBerry has a compelling enterprise story to tell with their BES 10 support and BlackBerry Balance; if they can get government agencies and large corporations to continue using BlackBerry while bringing in new customers, they even have the potential to surpass iOS in a couple of years."

" Even though I am a fan of Windows Phone, I don't think they ever will move ahead of BlackBerry into that third spot."

Z10 *owners*, what do you think so far?

I've been playing with my wifes Z10 for a few days now, I'm seriously impressed.

The browser is smoking fast and supports flash, the keyboard is freakin amazing. Display is sharp, and OS is quite snappy. The Hub integration is brilliant! Super easy to set up and transfer her pics and files from the old phone to the new. It seems to be lacking in the app dept but not a deal breaker for me as the important apps I need are there, and the blazing fast webbrowser addresses my needs.

I was going to hold out for the keyboard Q10, but I broke down and ordered a white Z10 now. :)

Telus tells me they are still sold out, and put me on a waiting list.

Very impressed with mine as well. Going from a keyboard to a touch screen is still taking some getting used to, but there are obvious advantages in the way it's able to intelligently predict words and display certain keys based on your typing patterns.. The device overall is fantastic.. the speed, the fluidity, the battery life after the break in period is amazing. There are some apps lacking in BB world, but side loading the android versions is extremely easy and works very well... I want for nothing with this phone.

After a few days of having mine my wife had to have one as well.. she's very happy with hers too.

It's official! Let the great exodus begin!

So far so goooooooood.... :)

BLACKBERRY Z10 AND Q10 PRODUCTION INCREASED

In an interview with the Frankfurter, BlackBerry CEO Thorsten Heins, has revealed they’ve “ramped up our production” of BlackBerry 10 devices.

When asked about speculation that the new BlackBerrys were sold out in some stores only because there were limited stock, Heins replied “The fact is that we have been surprised by the positive response. We have now increased our production capacity.”

Heins wouldn’t reveal any numerical account for the increase. Though Heins added, “I can say this much: significant for us and unexpectedly high proportion of BlackBerry 10 devices will be purchased by new customers who previously had iPhones or Android smartphones.”
