I thought they were a blast to ride when leaned over

I don't think I'll own another one, only because I rode them for 15 years and it's time for a change. But I thought it was a super fun bike to ride edge to edge.

As for 'character'...not sure about these but they look good...

Too bad the smaller engine doesn't come with the white/red that @oioioi has on his big boy version.

Now you're in the zone. I have one of these - I bought it to flip, but fell in love with it - now its my most ridden.

Suzuki also included a magical anti theft feature, they are never stolen.

V Strom or 500X came out of the same mold. Reliable? Yes. Character? Nope.

Big differences. The 500x is a CB 500 in an ADV costume. The DL is a capable adv bike.

500x is a known as a sloth, DL performance is respectable.

The 500x is more stylish, the DL more capable.

At least it doesn't have one squinky eye, so 99% of the pictures are taken from behind or the side.

Doubtful. We’ll see if the guy lets me or not but I doubt test rides allowed without full payment in hand.
