Bikes with character...

Thanks! That Triumph is gorgeous but I'm going to stick with my budget the best I can. And I had a chance to try out 1200cc yesterday...and while fun...too much for me 100%.

The Scramblers were updated considerably in 2019 so I'll keep looking for one in my range, although that XSR700 and the V7 has my interested peaked right now.
The 1190 KTM and that 1200 Triumph are no where near equal on power. I’ve ridden the same 1190 KTM and they’re a beast in comparison.

Ya...I'm not totally torn on the bike being sold...but it took some time to get things moving on my end and as I'm ready this morning...sent a message.

Guy took down the ad...but he hasn't responded to my question of 'did you sell it?' although he's got it on 'read' for a few hours now.

I feel like I'm being ghosted after a date ... without dinner :(
Unless you have confirmation of the bike being sold, there is always hope.

When I bought my Vstrom last year, I first came across the ad and spoke with the PO in July, a few days before heading over to Europe for vacation.
While in Europe, that ad was taken down so I was bummed about it but I wasn't going to buy a bike 3 days before leaving. I for sure thought it sold.

Thankfully I wrote down the PO phone number on a piece of paper and called once I returned from vacation. Surprisingly, bike was not sold (even though it was listed for a great price), the PO just changed his mind and decided to keep it.

I bugged him 2 more times with no answer. :( Finally called him in Sept again, and managed to "convince" him to sell it to me. Picking it up at the end of Sept.

Good luck with the next one, or maybe even this one that slipped away.

Yup...after your story with the VSTROM I was still asking the guy to confirm 100% if it's sold or he just de-listed...

It was sold. Good price, tons of accessories. I f$@ked up. Simple as that.

For the longest time I thought volkanovski in the UFC was polish, because he looked like you, and had that last name, then I realized he is actually greek, I ****** up too

I still root for the guy

First give away was the V in the last name.

We do not have such letters in our alphabet. We prefer more simple letters like
Ą Ć Ę Ł Ń Ó Ś Ź Ż

And the wonderful combinations of
SZ, CZ
or
CH which sounds the same as H
Or
RZ which sounds the same as Ż

or the letter Ó which makes the same sound as U but has its own rules as to when it can be used.

If by 'looked like you' you mean that we're both bald...yes...I can see that resemblance...but then again so are you...so :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Hondas don't have much character...but this thing looks the business...

Beautiful bike. Price seems a little high for the age and mileage. Obviously lots of life left but 70K will scare away much of the buyer pool.

Nice monster not sure about the rare as it is the same as the one you rode on the weekend. Sit on the 821 I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

I like the white VFR.
Beautiful clean canvas to add prefered stickers of your choice for more horsepower should you need it.

Street series was entry level bikes sold at lower end pricing. I think they started at 10k. Looks like they removed them from the line up now.
Some people liked them, other hated them.
Typical HD arguments overpriced, underpowered, brakes no good, but fit and finish wasn't the same as other bikes.

XR1200 is not a street. I believe there is even an old comparison video of it with a monster on youtube
