Anyone else out still riding on the nice days?

I see I'm not the only one to use those round mini mirrors! Re post #660 that is...

Was a decent ride downtown this morning, didn't care about the noon time rain. And such a nice ride home. Most of the way - until this:

PS, 660, 701, I'm also a believer in the little round convex stick-on mirrors

I wanted to get out after work, but then the line of thunderstorms appeared on the horizon - we only got glanced, but they were calling for hail...riding in the rain, one thing...riding in a hail storm, quite another.

Had a ****** end of my day at work as well.....in related news, if the weather is decent tomorrow, I've got some unexpected spare time on my hands to go riding.

All you need now is an ADV sticker...
The Twisted Throttle sticker is on the rear of my Givi v35 side cases.

I have to ask, are those nobbies ever going to see real "adventure"?
You should have seen where I took it last year with sport tires.
That bike is going to be going where it was never meant to be. I'll post pictures of it during a deep river crossing. I am all about the dirt.
Some of us have a 1700km gravel/trail trip planned for later this summer. The first break in of the new tires will be on Good Friday. I'll try to get some pics.
Almost forgot, where I live, I can do half my commute on Simcoe County Forest trails. I love living up north.

That's great, being able to go off-road really does add a whole new aspect to riding a street legal motorycle.

Glad you are enjoying it

Just got a bunch of weather alerts on my phone, looks like a good portion of southern Ontario is now under a freezing rain warning for all of tomorrow night, they are calling for 10 to 15 mm of accretion overnight, changing to rain through the day Thursday.

With that much on the way it's all but guaranteed the salt trucks will be out again in full force.

Back to square one I guess.

Storm track still seems to be in question (isn't is always until it's literally on top of us?) but to me this is preferable to the 15cm of snow TWN was forecasting yesterday.

Salt sucks ballz but 15cm of snow and the attendant giant piles of snowy **** everywhere would take ages to go away again.

saturday and sun look like itll be decent weather, either way im riding

If the roads are covered in rocksalt as it sounds like they almost certainly will be, you may wish to reconsider.
