It gets better. I still remember the very day we finally felt comfortable leaving them at home and yelling "See ya, we're outa here!' as we took off out the door.
Now, years later, it's easier yet.. They can cook for themselves, get themselves to and from work....we're free again!

My daughter has ridden with me a little, no big trips yet, but I'm sure she'll come on a few this summer. Her boyfriend being a motocross guy probably doesn't hurt.
My son couldn't seem to care less about the bike after he looked at the first time, asked "Can I ride it?", and I answered no. Since then, apparently, it's like it doesn't exist anymore.
@PrivatePilot my 12 year doesn't care. Only starting to when he realized that he could get a scooter at 16.
And my little guy is still, imo, too small. Also, I've oly been riding for 5 years, with not a lot of kms behind me.
But the little guy loves bikes. This was yesterday at Supercross :

@ Joe Bass. My youngest wants to ride sooooo bad. All my kids ride with me.
Not sure if it's the ice cream or the ride. Lol.
Don't have any recent pics since the novelty of a photo op lost lustre. But, I'm glad they share my passion.

omg its sunny, didnt expect this but pleasently surprised.. time to ride before it goes grey again
