Anyone else out still riding on the nice days?

Gonna ride to my new '90 Ninja, try to fix its electrical woes and start ripping stuff off.
Don't forget to take pics and start the build thread!

I squeezed into my gear and spent a lovely afternoon on the bike today. Back under the cover for a couple more weeks i think based on the forecast. But I can live with riding every other week almost from December to March.

Almost went out but driving around earlier showed boatloads of salty run-off across many of the roads I'd ride on. I passed. Don't feel like subjecting the bike to that. Another few weeks I think...

Got out for a few hours. Third ride this month, no complaints. Tons of other bikes out around this way.

Just changed the oil and took it for a spin around the neighborhood. First ride since November 15th. But the roads are pretty dirty, had to wash the bike. We need a good rain.

Rode to Brampton around 8 this morning, was a little chilly but tolerable. Ride home at 2pm was warm and sweaty.

February schmfebruary.

Thought about firing something up this afternoon. But it was my b'day yesterday and my 3yr old grandaughter exhausted me.Ugggggh...gotta work out more!

Tons of motorcycles out on the parkway today. It was 16C!

Had the kids and visiting friends so, no time. Blah!

Looks like another week in the garage...

Special Weather Statement

Special Weather Statement

Issued at 17:30 Sunday 28 February 2016

Summary

Potential snow storm for Southern Ontario Tuesday and Tuesday night. A low pressure system developing over the southern United States Monday will head towards the Lower Great Lakes and is expected to spread an area of snow into Southern Ontario Tuesday and Tuesday night. Significant snowfall amounts may be possible across portions of Southwestern Ontario, the Golden Horseshoe and Eastern Ontario. Travelling conditions could rapidly deteriorate

Showing 10-15cm forecasted out our way at this point. Seems we're going to continue to seesaw back and forth between winter and spring.

Can't complain, it's been a dream of a winter compared to the last 2...who all remembers our friend Polar Vortex?

Next week is supposed to be the last coldest week then its spring time! So hyped.

I was out for about an hour late this afternoon.
When I started up the bike a few days ago, it was running rough, a sure sign the fuel was getting old.
Strapped on the helmet, rode around for awhile to burn off most of the old gas and to ensure the battery has a good charge.
Half a tank of new gas on the way home.

Hopefully tonight's snowmageddon is the last blast - next week is looking downright tropical after a few lingering chilly days finishing out this week. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday next week look like good prospects for ride to work days based on the current forecast.

Now that the rain has washed away the salt and crap...anyone else riding this weekend? Wow...16°C and sunny on Saturday!

Please be careful people. Already one death in the few nice days we had. RIP and condolences to the family.

Anyone that doesn't get out even a little on Saturday should lose their forum posting privileges for a week.
