Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

Feel like this is one of those "one step forward, two steps back" kinda situations. Maybe even three steps back...

That said, why do I suddenly want one now?!?

It’s funky!

That said, had 3 friends sell their cyber truck spots, I’ll probably do the same.

Surprised there is a market for that. How much are they going for?

Finding a sucker to buy Damon spots is probably the best outcome for those.
$1500+

Neighbour has a new Kia ev. Every morning she takes a very long time backing out of her longish driveway with the car doing a loud "bong bong bong" noise. Very annoying and imho, silly.

If you drove one you'd understand - they're silent. People don't hear them.

Our 2017 Volt has a sorta quiet "whoosh" noise it makes when you're driving forward that tells people you're behind them - ie the people who walk in the middle of the road instead of off to the side in parking lots, etc. My 2011 doesn't have that, so often I get stuck behind these people not wanting to use the horn to tell them to GTFO of the way. It does have a sorta-more-polite pedestrian horn feature but people still get butthurt, because of course, the world revolves around them.

So, not only to the wheel covers on the Cybertruck like to randomly fall off into traffic, turns out they're also borking up the trucks tires too.

Did anyone actually test these things before they went out on the road? Did no engineer remember that tires flex under real world usage?

You should watch the video I linked

Yes, i understand why it's there. But does it have to be as loud as it is?

The back up beeper? I've heard them and I don't find them particularly loud myself, but maybe they've cranked them up or something.

Personally I am perfectly OK with back up beepers, But I guess that's probably the commercial driver in me.

My 2018 didn't have the little 'toot toot' horn for pedestrians. I spent days looking for it...turns out they removed it from Gen 1 to Gen 2.
