What changed? Feelings about the car or just ****** at dealership? Does contract include timing? You cant violate by backing out but they can violate by stalling?Still dealing with the dealership. As the trade was worth more than the Volt they said a cheque will be ready Thursday, now Friday, now Friday afternoon, maybe Monday....FML.
I don’t even want the car anymore but I had to put a deposit down and their line is ‘a contract is a contract and you can’t cancel for any reason now.
****. Just give me my deposit minus your incurred costs to prepare the car and I’m happy.
I’m just ****** at the dealership with this back and forth on their end of the bargain. What changed? Feelings about the car or just ****** at dealership? Does contract include timing? You cant violate by backing out but they can violate by stalling?

This is where social media really comes into it's own. They do not want their name being dragged through the mud. I'd call the principal this afternoon to determine if the %$## comes from above or whether it's at the employee level.I had a similar ****** purchase thing when I bought my 2011....pretty sure I detailed it here about a hundred pages back.
I started making their life difficult and didn't feel bad even a tiny bit bad about it.
Honestly even if it costs me $500 I’d be willing to walk away simply out of frustration.
Is there a delivery date on the bill of sale? There should be the date when you signed the contract and also a separate delivery date on there. Check the terms and conditions (might be on the backside) regarding delivery times.Honestly even if it costs me $500 I’d be willing to walk away simply out of frustration.
True there’s no cooling off period for vehicle contracts but that doesn’t mean they don’t have to hold up their end. Did you already take possession?Still dealing with the dealership. You're younger than me but hopefully at some point in life you'll be able to have the "toy car" to go with the "sensible daily" ... at least you've got another bike from what I thought I saw so there's the fun toy for now.Just got a message they squeezed the cheque through. So picking it up today at 5pm.
will see how it goes after that.
yes a part of me will miss the WRX after chirping the tires yesterday, but I’m looking forward to now having $70 fill ups. The usage of this car will be such I probably won’t see a gas station in a month.
Oh I know...I had one lol. The Bolt can too.The Volt can chirp it's tires as well pretty easily, just FWIW. Well, from a stop at least.
You're a nicer person then me. I would have refused to take possession until it was corrected and that cheque was in my sweaty palm.Got the car, got the cheque, gave them **** for the horrible tint job. Uneven cuts, bubbling all around and had to rewrite the contract that they’re replacing it next week.
Plates are GVAT so a late adopter.

Ya thinking back I should’ve told them to eff off. I do have the cheque though. Already deposited it on the way home. You're a nicer person then me. I would have refused to take possession until it was corrected and that cheque was in my sweaty palm.
