2024 Demo Days

Wouldnt be opposed to riding some ducatis, if someone knows of a day, let me know

I much prefer the demos at large events like Ride for Sight or the Races at Mosport. If you sign up early you can usually ride 2-3 bikes from a choice of brands. Last year at the Superbike races I rode a couple Kawis. Can't remember if I took out an HD as well.

25 bucks, plus the fact that the majority of people would need to take time off work.

I just don't want to ride a Suzuki that badly.

Exactly. I did a demo ride at Snow City last last year as I wanted to try new Pee-strom badly and the actual ride was not much fun considering all the traffic in the area and a very short time allocated.
I prefer now test rides at GP Bikes for those reasons.
I do remember old good days (12 years ago?) when KTM did their demo in the Milton area and I managed to ride 4 bikes with total saddle time around 1.5 hrs...

I wonder if I can talk a ktm dealer into giving me an SMT to demo? Might not be in the country in june

P.S. Duplicate, saw the previous post, sorry

The Triumph website has a 'request a test ride' form that basically just lists every dealer in Canada. My wife is looking to buy and has called around to multiple Triumph dealers (including GP Bikes) and none is willing to do test rides. She's got her full M and is an experienced rider. Any of the 900 twins would be fine, it doesn't have to be a specific model.

Multiple people have mentioned that they've done one-off test rides through GP before. Did you just show up in person? Is there a specific sales person you talked to, or anything special that you need to say to get their attention? Weekdays, weekends? Do you need to be on the baller list?

At this rate she's going to end up with an XSR700, because that's the only one she can get a test ride on.

Not exactly helpful since they aren't a Triumph dealer, but Apex in Cambridge is excellent at demo rides.

Studio cycle (Aprilia, Moto Guzzi, Husq) are also good at demos.
