Now when I’m sitting at the lights on my Ducati, I do love the sound of a Harley, that they own.

By better I mean refined, ride a Harley for 3 hours straight over non perfect roads the a K1600 and see the difference, they don’t need to loose their heritage, just refine what they have.

I don’t think Harley should make cheaper bikes, just better bikes, adapt to what more people want in the 30-45 range

Honestly they make all kinds of different bikes to suit all kinds of different riders, I will wave to all riders and respect anything on 2 wheels and the rider. a $1000 bike or a $50,000 bike.

You’re probably right, I was just talking to my brother in law who has had Harleys for years, we talked about the new Indian challenger which he agreed was better than a Harley in most ways, his only rebuttal was it just wasn’t a Harley, this is what HD has relied on for decades, younger buyers...

I think the main question is can HD continue on the same path or do they go after a market they don’t have? Clearly with their 500 and 750 street this is something they want to do yet the bikes are relatively unknown after some years in production. The biggest thing I see as being a problem is...

They’re already behind on that, with the Ducati streetfighter V4 out, why would anyone want this?

All the answers are there for HD R&D, it’s called Indian, not my style of bike but if I wanted an excuse not to groom, a fat belly and a bad wardrobe then I would go for an Indian. For now my Ducati will suit me fine.

My son is currently riding an rc390 and wants to move to something bigger, but insurance... he likes the CB650 but the insurance is higher than a CBR600. Where can he go under 600cc with a more upright riding position, still sporty, some more power and won’t kill him on insurance for the next 3...

Love that bike; I came close to buying one myself; decided to sacrifice 7hp and go with a multistrada after having 2 shoulder surgeries. Your gonna love it; stay safe.
