Buddy at work today did a 520lb dead lift and benched 365. Personal bests for him.


FYI, Zinc tablets on an empty stomach = a bad morning... Definitely taking with food next time. Popped one in just before I hit the shower. Was getting dressed and had to make a run for the bathroom before I could get in to breakfast.
I don't take any other vitamins/supplements (other than the odd protein shake when I am going to miss a meal), but I'm pretty sure I don't take in enough zinc in my diet for what I do... Anything that helps with natural testosterone production is good!

I know a guy that Pulls 635 lbs.....I've also spotted him on bench once when he did 405 x 2....there is always someone bigger and stronger out there....such is life. *Shrug*

I couldn't imagine pressing that much weight EVER no matter how long I trained at it.

I was in no way taking a dig at you and what you lift, you've got me beat in the lifting department for sure.

Ha! Yeah Zinc can give you the hersey squirts no doubt.. I've actually read its best to supplement Zinc with your last meal of the day as testosterone production is highest in the early AM hours of sleep. That is why men (healthy ones anyway) wake up with boners.

Yeah Roasted, nice deadlift. Good power with the full overhand grip too and not the over/under style.

Im scared to 1RM these days on anything. I am great at injurying myself.

Wasn't the squirts, just threw it up.

I had decided to take it with my last meal of the day simply so my body has my rest hours to put it to use.

Just watched this. Funny ish but I can't really make out what he's yelling everytime he locks out. I notice he's also sniffing smelling salts prior to his lifts.

You make fun of crossfitters but guys at the one I do Olympic lifts at are doing more than that without wriststraps. Im 43 and can do 385 plus without straps. Yer ghey:p come join us sometime

Powerlifters and Oly. Lifters train for strength .... they are strong and most are at least pretty big.

Bodybuilders train for size and looks ..... they are big and most are at least pretty strong. (I'm in this camp, I'm not a powerlifter).

Crossfitters try to train for everything, and most are mediocre at everything........this is why I make fun of them and will continue to make fun of them. Their only saving grace is that some of their women are hot.
