The fit test is the easiest one. By far.
Wait until the first workout, the "warm up" is not what you're expecting... Basically a work out before you work out.

Um ya...so I did a "regular" Insanity work out on Tuesday. Everything still hurts. Calfs felt like they were going to explode durring the work out and not fun driving standard the last few days. My friend and I, had to several times durring the work out had to do modifications so that we could keep on going.

Friggen great work out. Loving the guys taking their tops off mid work out;) Can't wait to do it again Sunday:)
 
For the people that hate eating (including me), have you ever thought about just blending your food and drinking it? I had strep throat last week and had to blend my food as a result of it. Measured my carbs, added some chicken, threw in some veggies, then blended. I drank my meal and I was done in minutes (I'm a pretty quick eater, too).

Are there any drawbacks to this? It seems too good to be true. Do nutrients get lost this way? (I find that a bit hard to imagine since it'd be like chewing it).

I'd imagine the major drawback would be that it's gross. Blending fruit, whey and yogurt is one thing, but chicken and veggies in liquid form?? Ewwww...

I doubt nutrients get lost...but I imagine that this is how they feed dangerous mental patients.

hahaha I'll admit, "hating food" is a bit of an exaggeration...but since my food's really bland, I eat it really quickly to get it over with.

Maybe I just got lucky with whatever I blended 'cause it actually didn't taste disgusting. It wasn't amazing, either...but it didn't taste as bad as it looked :p

Each workout is an accomplishment.
When it was too much, sometimes id end up doing 80% of each exercise until i can get to the 100%...by the end of the 1st month i was pretty much doing 100%...

then the 2nd month started...... nightmare lol

My diet, when I eat proper is bland. But that's because I only eat what I need and nothing else. So I just shove my face and get on with my day.

The "pure cardio" is non stop... It's not a break every 3 min.

However, I love them and I've never really been overly sore from them and I'm competitive so I try to beat the people in the DVD... The chicks are also good looking and work as motivation! And seeing the fit guys reminds me of the goal.

Think I have convinced the gf to start working out with me (@5'6" and a perfectly sexy 118lbs she doesn't really need it) and hopefully that will help keep my diet on track when we're together... Relationships are sabotage!

Hot sauce, man. Hot sauce. Preferably the one with the rooster on it haha.

I also have a weird habit of putting montreal steak spice on everything.

I think the biggest drawback is because you aren't chewing your food, your jaw doesn't get a good workout and it affects ones performance in giving blowj o.....never mind!


On the real though, Ive heard that its good to drink water before a meal but that drinking too much water/liquid WHILE eating can hinder digestion somewhat. I think it was Mr Paleo himself, Robb Wolf who said this. To liquify chicken & veggies, you'd probably have to add a good amount of water to help it go down. Im wondering if that would then hinder digestion a bit. But, its probably not a big deal anyway.

that stuff is so true, see it all the time on my facebook. You'll get the odd person who brings up the fact that the 300lb chick is unhealthy and people should be concerned for her and then every one rips her to shreds saying fat people are fine, you're a jerk etc. It's ridiculous. Drives me nuts that since I got a big butt and am a size 12, I'm clumped into plus-size from the modeling world. There is nothing wrong with that ripped chick, and the person who said she's anorexic is stupid.
