For his choice of what he wants to do, yes he is very fit... But, there's different things people train for, and while they may not be muscled up like this dude, does not mean they are not equally as fit.

It really isnt cool for a trained martial artist/fighter to walk around thinking how he can beat up all these big bodybuilder NON-fighters because they appear to think they are tough.. You gotta ask, who is really the one with the bad attitude?

The big buff guy with a tough guy appearance? It could just be his appearance, he might be a nice guy. But, what is to be said about the guy (big or small) walking around, sizing people up in the gym and thinking about how he can beat them all up. What kind of attitude is that?

They seem to have a beer gut half the time too... From all the fight nights spent at Boston Pizza, eating wings, drinking beer and yelling out moves to the TV.

brought to you by TAPOUT.

MMA mentality, too much reality television. I'd like to see one of these mofos go up against a real martial artist.

Come at me bro!

The thing is, a lot of the guys that actually train MMA or any of the various disciplines, from my experience are mostly very humble and nice. If you are training right, by that meaning you train with guys that are as good or better than you, you can't help but be humbled.

lol I can only imagine LoneRonin getting more red in the face as he scrolls down to each post

damnit, i strained my shoulder from racking off on squats again. the hardest part of an injury is forcing yourself to call it a day.

I have been training since January specifically for obstacle course racing (i.e. spartan sprint, spartan beast, tough mudder).

Mon: 5KM + workout stations throughout (i.e. max effort hill sprints, burpees, jump squats, pullups, stair climbs, spidercrawls etc)
Tues: Same as tuesday except over 12-16KM.
Wed: Indoor boot camp - mix of trx, medicine balls, bosu balls, speed ladder work and kettlebells
Friday: Plain jane running for 7K

I tried the Spartan Srint in 2011 and had a great time. Definitely something different.

I hear ya man, I ****ed up my back thursday. Always get carried away maxing out on deadlifts as I'm trying to catch up to my old max (500 lbs x 1). I pulled 475 lbs and knew I goofed with form on that attempt so I didn't try for more even though I felt I had a tiny bit left in the tank. Started doing squats on Sunday and that's when I felt pain....didn't notice till than. I set a squat PR last week and now I have to take it easy. :( Hurts when I ride too. I think I'm off deads for a while now and I can still sort of squat but have to take it easy and no leg press. :(

I'm injured again too... I had 2 weeks of good hard work outs and I'm out for at least another week. Not sure exactly what I've got going on, all I know is it's a tendon issue and I can't fully bend or straighten my knee. Not much pain, it just feels stiff at a certain point so I just have to wait for the swelling to go down. (Injured it racing)

sorry bros...I know how it feels:(. I got a hemerrhoid from going mad hord at the gym a couple of months back. I couldn't work out for 3 weeks, so I was miserable af. And I couldn't go out or it would set back my progress lmao sh1t lyf3

nope, not at all. Actually the ********* shirt was hilarious because that's exactly the type of people I was referring to...Those Tapout shirts have become the equivalent of the Icon vest. Most of the guys wearing them haven't set foot in the gym...and all the internet warriors are welcome to come to my gym if anyone has doubts...training for a fight Sept 8th in Barrie, come out to that too the more support the better and bring your bikes, I'll likely be on mine.
