RE: Post workout window - I for one do not think of this period as a myth. I think there is merit here so I agree with Taleb. For me, I don't do the PWO shake, instead my post workout meal is my biggest meal of the day. Calorie & protein wise its about 50% of my daily intake in one meal.... As you can imagine, its my favorite meal of the day!
Good read regarding meal frequency. I agree with the points. I don't think eating more will get you leaner.
I do however think that frequent healthy meals will keep you going... Prevents cortisol (cortisol is a hormone that works against testosterone) this in return will put on fat. Also frequent meals will give you the energy you need to be active and not just want to sit and be lazy. Also from personal experience for people who are already fit, the more the frequent the meal is, the more physically "pumped" you will look.
So yes, frequent meals does not mean you will lose weight. However, will better assist you in achieving your goals when combined with all the other important things.
