That's the beautifullist bike I've ever seen. :love10:

Its a personal taste thing.
For me, sportbike beauty fell between 1987 and 2000. After that they really all started to look like wasps.

I agree 100%, can you modify them (legally) and place the plates under the seat?

Always thought you can place it anywhere as long as it is 100% visible day and night.

Exact opposite here. I hate the designs on the older ss. I like the new sporty ones.

Agreed. All the newer japanese sports look a tad too.....

If I ever ride a super sport, it's going to have to be a k5 gsxr.

I dont like the look of the new GSXR's, but I LOVE LOVE the new ZX10's.

I fit soo well on the new zx10's.....

i agree...i think all the bikes form the mid 2000s were the sexiest

i dont see myself ever purchasing any bike past 2006...looks like they got beat with an ugly stick :laughing8:
"to the bat cave robin"

I like the looks of the older iron, my 2000 fireblade is still making me smile with 150hp @ the crank and 379lb dry weight and 434lb wet weight, lighter then most if not all 20010 600's and 1000's Tadao Baba you did well with the fireblade design!:laughing8:

929's couldn't even stay in the draft of 1998+ EFI SRAD 750's.
I think 150 hp was a really optimistc number for Honda to throw around.
The best stock dyno sheet I ever saw for a 929 was 121 hp....and that one was an anomoly

Honda RC31 and RC45 sweet!

wasn't referring to the paint.. previous comment was about the face looking like it was punched in on that bike.. mine is silver.. not that it matters.

Now I have a soundtrack of all 4 of those guys yelling at each other stuck in my head.

"AAHHHH!!!"
"OOOOOHHHHH!"
"EERRRRRR!!!"
"AAARRRGGGGHHH"

I know, I know - kabuki. But they look so angry.

Japanese sportbike design peaked with this bike, from an aesthetic point.

It's been all downhill from there.

NOW THAT IS SEXY. Not feeling the paint scheme. I can update that though.

I kind of agree with you. I think Japanese sportbike glory days has two high point... First one is from late 80s - early 90s where the 250 and 400s zipping around in Japan, then the second peak during the battle of I4 vs v-twin. There is really nothing spectacular between mid 90s - late 90s. Maybe a few bike worth mentioning, but not many.

I think most bike are still okay up to mid-2000s, then it go downhill from there...
