Why Android is better than iPhone.

Weird how the flagship phone which is built to google specs doesn't have this supposedly crucial feature

Probably because Apple and Google both realize that functionality is all about the cloud and wireless communications. MicroSD and USB sticks? Wheres my floppy drive.....

Cloud lmfao, that's just online storage, that's been around for yrs. With USB stick or hard drive, I don't need an internet connection to work from. I can watch movies, work on documents, ect. All without taking up space on my tablet. Apple products are basic out dated technology. The iPhone 5 won't be as good as the Galaxy S3. Like I said, Apple is the new Rim. I can't blame you for trying to argue the point, it must be embarrassing to know you purchased over priced, out dated technology. My tablet also has a dedicated HDMI port, micro usb. So to summarize iconia, full size USB, micro USB, HDMI, and Apple notta. You need to learn the meaning of the word functionality.

Yeah bro needing a bunch of ports and expansion slots is totally what makes a tablet awesome

I might as well haul my desktop around with all the cables and accessories

You and Acer missed the mark. If they had half a clue they couldve produced something people actually wanted

oilygeek how many USB flash drives do you have on you RIGHT NOW? No cheating.

Wow another brilliant argument from you hahaha. That's the idea of a tablet having all the ports, so if i want i can still have the full experience without having the desktop. It's obvious i am wasting my time with you. You should find other threads to post in, i am sure there has to be something on this forum you understand, and can contribute to. I am tired of wasting my time and talent. Through this entire thread most if your points have been lame. Saying we can't afford apple, where again I proved that was wrong. You have nothing to offer.

Need more ports!!!!!!!! There is not enough PORTS!!!!!!!

Face the facts buddy... the best (and second best) tablets on the market aren't cluttered with needless ports and expansions. Most people don't want or need that stuff, and don't appreciate the extra bulk and clutter on a mobile device. I would NEVER EVER use a flash drive or card in my tablet, and judging by sales numbers, the majority agree.

I would also never use an antiquated HDMI-out when I can mirror to my TV wirelessly. Welcome to 2012, old man.

I heard Acer is shipping the next Iconia with these bad boys

After owning an Acer laptop, and using a bunch of them. Acer's "quality" is definitely questionable

Clearly Acer doesn't know what consumers want either as the A700 lost it's USB port

from that article.

“They used to point their finger at IBM and laugh,” said Bill Hill, a former Microsoft manager. “Now they’ve become the thing they despised.”
Today, Microsoft stands at a precipice, an all-or-nothing opportunity that may be Ballmer’s last chance to demonstrate to Wall Street that he is the right man with the right plan to lead the sprawling enterprise into the future. With Surface, the recently unveiled tablet, Windows 8, Windows Phone 7, Windows Server 2012, and Xbox 720 in the offing, he could be on the verge of proving his strategies—including last year’s controversial, $8.5 billion acquisition of Skype. But whether these succeed or not, executives say, the Microsoft of old, the nimble player that captured the passions of a generation of techies and software engineers, is dead and gone.
“I see Microsoft as technology’s answer to Sears,” said Kurt Massey, a former senior marketing manager. “In the 40s, 50s, and 60s, Sears had it nailed. It was top-notch, but now it’s just a barren wasteland. And that’s Microsoft. The company just isn’t cool anymore.”
Cool is what tech consumers want. Exhibit A: today the iPhone brings in more revenue than the entirety of Microsoft.
No, really.
One Apple product, something that didn’t exist five years ago, has higher sales than everything Microsoft has to offer. More than Windows, Office, Xbox, Bing, Windows Phone, and every other product that Microsoft has created since 1975. In the quarter ended March 31, 2012, iPhone had sales of $22.7 billion; Microsoft Corporation, $17.4 billion.

The whole article can be summed up by this,

"today the iPhone brings in more revenue than the entirety of Microsoft."

Some of you have to stop acting like iPhone was the first smartphone out there. Sure it was the first smart phone dumbed down enough for everyone to play angry birds on but windows mobile, symbian and palm(?) has applications and could do quite a lot way back in the day. They were't "luxurious" enough for mmmnaked but apple didn't make that big of a jump in the technical department. Eye candy was their what their biggest contribution.

iPhone was a total paradigm shift. You only need to glance at the current smartphone market to know where it all started. Sit down, son.

Looks to me like these guys are even slipping in the marketing department.
Do these pathetic, reek-of-desperation commercials look Olympic worthy to you?
Here Are Apple's 'Dreadful' New Ads For The Mac

Apple........ the new RIM.

Apple is just telling the world, I GOT YOU!!!.....just come home, so we can help you..(FREE)=(WIN).

Where do others GO????....and pay to fix, or even learn!!!!

You have to remember, not everyone is computer smart, and do require assistance.

So, a lot of people don't know that....now they do.
