yesterday was cold but nice
Amazing, where do you ride to rack up so much mileage? Just consistently getting out there and riding?
Hot bikes cooling off in the garage after a long ride will heat it back upBeen wanting to pull the bike out but my garage heater is down and I'm loathe to open the door and loose the little heat it has.......
That's pretty much it.
I did 15,000 km heading to Alaska and back, 9,000km on a ride to Florida Keys and New Orleans, Sunday rides typically anything from 250 to 800 km, sometimes more, and commuting probably is 20,000 to 25,000 km a year.
My bike is my everyday vehicle. I have a car and mainly drive it when there is (or is risk of) ice and snow. Once a week I drive it to the grocery store (taking the long way) to make sure it doesn't sit too long.

Tom, that is disappointing we all expected higher mileage from you, I guess there is always next year!Looks like I'm stuck at 61,000 km for 2022. Haven't been able to ride for the last week. This week too sketchy and Friday gone for a week to spend time with Family in Calgary (flying.)

I should be back from visiting my daughter in Calgary by Dec 31st so there is a slim chance that I might get a little ride in. I doubt it but I can hope.Tom, that is disappointing we all expected higher mileage from you, I guess there is always next year!
Missed my Santa Clause rise this year, but did a little run this afternoon up to Dagmar on Lakeridge Rd during a break in the rain. Roads really wet, got home soaked with the taste of salty brine in my mouth and nose.Back from visiting my Daughter in Calgary. Went for a very little year end ride. Only did 86 km because visibility got pretty bad.
Ended up with 61,086 km in 2022.
