Haven't moved my bike since November. Suffered a concussion in December and haven't been quite right in the head since...ugh.

Sorry to hear! Get well soon! I have had two and perhaps a third, mainly when I was young not fun!

Thx. At least at long last my eyesight has started to sort itself out, have had terrible hazy double vision for weeks now.

Hoping to get cleared to drive again this Tuesday. Having time off work and being basically stranded at home most of the time has sucked.

Just need to work on the headaches and continued random nausea beyond that.

Headaches, nausea, vertigo could take a year+, depending on how hard you clocked yourself.

Sorry to hear PP. Don't be afraid to get a second or third opinion. Brain injury is something doctors are still learning about.

Anyone go out today, or planning to tomorrow? lol

Get well soon. I'm 2 years since my last, it took a couple of weeks for the the fog to clear.

I've had my bell rung a few times over the years, as you get older the healing takes longer.

Some guy in one of my motorcycle FB groups posted that he rode into work this morning and when he went to leave at 2pm, the bike wouldn't start...he posted looking for help and a few comments were dissing him for even doing so in the first place...apparently he was parked in a public lot and was told he had until 9pm to get it out of there or it would be towed...no idea why anyone in their right mind would attempt riding today...

Because some of us have been riding since when motorcyclists still had balls, and are still young enough to remember that. I rode yesterday. Not a big deal. Just avoid residential streets until you need to.

Snowflakes are only a problem for snowflakes, or for people who don't have the right gear. My girl is out for an hour every day on foot for her training to climb Mount Kilimanjaro. Her parents enjoy winter snowmobiling.

Gear up and you'll have fun. If they can do it in their 70s, I'm sure you'll be fine lol

@adri sorry, but that had nothing to do with having balls...Friday was probably the WORST day to be out and about on a motorcycle (or even walking for that matter)...at the temps that we had, frostbite can occur in less than 15 minutes...walking is one thing on cooler days, but out on two wheels in that &^&* is not a good idea in my eyes...we can agree to disagree :D

Have to also disagree, telling people to man up and having proper gear doesn't account for the facts of dangers of riding in conditions not even remotely suitable for a motorcycle.
How does one avoid residential streets when most of us live on one, many of which haven't been cleared of ice and snow. There is no way to safely ride a bike down my street in it's current form.

I'm not afraid of cold weather riding. Frostbite is a gear issue, no concern there. I wouldn't go for a walk in shorts and a tee at-10, I wont ride that way either.

Traction is always a concern below 5c in the winter, the pavement can ice and become tragically slippery. You can't always see black ice, and even the best MC tires can't grip ice.

When I do ride in the winter, it's my 200lb 125cc Enduro. 12 screaming ponies is my limit below 5c.

Dude's cruiser didn't want to start after being parked on the street in -20 weather for a few hours, who knew lol. Even in low positive temps, my bike doesn't like a cold start after being left out in the extremes.

Easy. When you see the residential street, you ask yourself, "Is that my street?" and if the answer is no, you don't turn down it. Been doing it for 15 years, you'll be okay.

Not really, it's not about which street it's about the conditions of the street and like I said if the street you live on hasn't been cleared of ice and snow then you can't avoid it.
This is how my street looks. This is better then it has been because it warmed up yesterday. But still why risk it for a limited scoot. 🤷‍♂️
