Which gun should be banned next?

Only place I've seen a handgun in public other than on a cop was at a street festival in Toronto in some guy's waist band when he fixed his shirt.

Criminals don't use legal guns anyway so banning any guns isn't going to do much of anything in relation to gun violence.

I don't own a gun and never will but what you're proposing is just silly.

Caribana?

CSIS should really start monitoring gun advocates. No telling when one will snaps.

My dad owned guns for 30yrs,hasn't snapped yet. That would be a total waste of resources if he was monitored for all these years

So lets just look at the obvious, Daught, you started a thread about which gun to ban. On a fishing expedition. the usual suspects showed up and we get a comparison to Serbia. Even the Serbs don't care about stats in Serbia. And it goes to 9 pages. Daught , go fish in a bigger barrel, your a troll .

Dunno... sonetimes I feel I am the one getting trolled. No way GTAM and serbia can take a thread I started to ridicule the anti gun crowd so seriously.

For what it's worth...when I first read this thread there was no doubt in my mind that it was sarcasm.

I was added to a certain progun group on facebook. Some of the people on there think going and shooting anyone of a particular colour or creed is ok. They remind me of the simpsons episode when homer got a gun. These "homers" are the biggest threat to the gun community, particularly the way they think guns will solve their problems and arguments. I can see them making it difficult for responsible people to become gun owners.

If we can save ONE life, the resources are not wasted.
How would they save a life. Can you tell the future that he will kill someone?

But unfortunately that's the case with everything. The homers in gun world are like the squids in motorcycle world they are the faces that make it to TV and therefore the stick the ignorant public uses to judge us all.

I've owned guns for almost 32 years and haven't snapped. Only an anomalous few ever will. An even smaller few who do snap will ever misuse a gun. Good luck screening for "that one in a few million", lol! You'd have much better luck finding a needle in a haystack.

This handgun maybe too dangerous for regular people. It also looks extra tactical soooo.. it should be banned..

My dad has drawn his gun about 3-4 times to defend himself & his property. It were hostile situations & it calmed down quickly. I was very young at the time & had no clue what was happening. I believe he was my age. Every man should have a right to defend his life & property

Where the **** were you living? Compton?

How many times have you had to draw a gun to protect yourself, now that you are the same age he was?

I've never had to draw a gun, as I said every man should be able to protect himself

In the period of a year of working at a gas bar I had a gun drawn on me once and a finger in a jacket pointed at me once. I gave them the money both times. It wasn't my money and my employer was insured (and even if they weren't insured or it was my money my life is worth more to me than 80-100$)

Even if I had a gun with me at the time the real gun was drawn on me. I wouldn't have reached for it, any motion whether reaching under the counter or reaching for a holster would have taken longer than the person holding the gun at me would have taken to pull the trigger. If I was in a bulletproof cage the situation would have been different. There are times where being armed does not equalize things.

In the finger incident I had their licence plate, company name on the van and knew that since they were pretending to have a gun they would benefit from a forced education on why they were stupid.
