202,000 KM ??

You guys really push the envelope! The Suzuki 650 twins are pretty impressive little units. I loved the motor on my SV1000.

As I said these bikes are for riding! :)

I love the Suzuki 650! My wife also has a Gladiius which has the 650 V-Twin as well. The motor on my 2012 DL650 is a returned (for lower end torque)version of that motor.

..Tom

650 twin is what powers the Burgman 650 my ride in Canada- 75,000 km on the two I've had and aside from tires etc - two batteries are the sum total of "repairs". Still the best all around machine I've owned
One guy in the states has 109,000 miles on his - original motor.

My KLR 650 thumper here in Aud seems bullet proof ....what I've put it through here is criminal ( sitting around for 9 months in heat and wet and the girls even knocked it over ).
Started right up after a few grumbles. Dropped, soaked, neglected, baked = still works fine if a little tattered. Bit heavy off road, big tank is good. Total reliable is needed for outback and it is...even rode it out with a broken clutch lever and it took the abuse just fine.

The ST1100 I bought tour is legendary for distance and reliability - guys with 400,000 km.
21 year old tourer, smooth as glass...but it's up for sale. Amazing machine for the age and a strong community of riders.
Found it too top heavy in the city and not enough open road here to justify it where speed limits are 100kph and heavily enforced.......and the bike loves to run all day at 130 and up. Looks gorgeous still.
Not the right bike for me :(

I love the additional choices in intermediates....trying to get to CB500x here long term.

Impressive. Engine still not tired yet?

Not at all - original everything in the motor and strong as ever. These bikes will effortlessly cruise at 120 kph all day long. It had 70k on it when I bought it and I have put another 80k since then. I'm sure it will easily go another 150k.

I ride a 2009 Ninja 250r, unfortunately I'm not even close to being 25 and insurance has/will kill me if I try and get a 600cc. I'm thinking of maybe upgrading to a Ninja 300 but ehhhh, I've come to love my 250.

Pretty much putting on 15,000km every season.

1986 Yamaha FZ600 - because it's my first bike, great for learning to wrench on, and it was cheap!

Slingshot. The TRUE gixxer, oil/air cooled. Nothing beats starting/stopping the motor in traffic to prevent overheating. Everything feels so raw in that it's all mechanical. You feel much more connected to the bike IMO. I do all the work on my bike, and I mean EVERYTHING. They're so simple to work on

2010 gsxr 600, 2009 gsxr 750, 96 600 ninja, 2005 dr 200, 2002 rm 250. Hoping to get a trials bike soon. Why? Because I love to ride. :)

Ducati...because we are the D-bag posers at your local coffee spots & we just love to look at our bikes!

2009 Kawasaki Versys 650 because I love long distance touring, the upright seating position like my old KLR, and it owns the corners like my VFR, and it pulls like a train while riding two up.

If I was to replace it, I'd go back to a KLR again, for insurance, maintenance and zip tie repairs when I bust up all those pretty plastic bits in the mud or sand.

Seriously, the Versys gets me there with a smile on my face.

2003 Burgman 650. Not a sexy beast but it delivers the goods, literally in some cases thanks to the trunk. It allows me to forget the car in most cases. City, highway, commuting, touring, stable in the rain and cold. It'll do decent gravel roads at a good clip if you trust it.

Still casting about for a second bike. Can't decide what though. Probably a drz400/dr650.

Do we get to spit shine our rims every 20mins? :D
