Ninja 250. Im 31 but new rider and all I can afford. Gotta say though I thoroughly enjoyed it last year. No regrets, I'll prob ride it all year again while i continue to save more (its a pleasure vehicle afterall) and get my M this summer.

Forgot to mention that my heart is really in a triumph street triple ;) Hopefully in 2015. Just love the aggressive street performance but without the bling of a ss bike.

2001 GS500.

Of all the 'beginner bikes' I looked at, I liked it best. Great all-round bike, and very simple to maintain.

I've got a buddy with the exact same bike and he loves it, and the list of mods for that bike is pretty well endless.

No need to elaborate:rolleyes:

I know you were afraid the NC700 might be boring and tractor like. How is the NC750? I find those bikes interesting. Opposite of top heavy, which I'm guessing you like. Enjoy!

well since i am emotionally stunted and physically old. Was time for a cruiser or a big scooter. hate both. I thought the Versys would be perfect but i hated it. Tall, topheavy and a pain in traffic. And even on a
relatively cool day (January 25 so only around 8c) my right foot was baking from the engine heat.

The 750 fixed all the things i felt the 700 was missing. Has the mpg of my (former) Cbr250 with the power of the Ninja 650. The NC actually has more torque than the Ninja.
The NC has low seat height. relaxed ergo. low centre of gravity. It is so balanced it is almost a "hover bike" in that you can do a (standy?) when stopping ..can wait a second or
two before putting feet down. The only thing i am changing is the mini-windscreen. Speeds of 100+kph be tiring without a bit more wind protection. (new screen is on order)

i know you guys will have no sympathy (with your endless cold and snow) but here it is endless rain and gloomy cloudy days. :)
and when the sun does come out its a week day.
The NC is for sunny warm weekend days ... BWS is for the rain.

Going to look similar to this.. very soon... :agave:

Always wanted a Cafe Racer.
I just could not manage to ride my SS at the speed limit.. no matter how hard I tried. The constant looking over my shoulder made me very frustrated and ultimately, I ended up selling.

I ride an 81 Honda Silverwing GL500. I ride it because it was given to me by my father-in-law for free! Its in great shape and is perfect for a new rider. I got my license last April and it's been a great bike to learn on.

I ride a 2011 Multistrada 1200. Its a hard bike to classify because it looks a bit like an adventure bike but it's off road capabilities are very limited. It's got sportbike power and handling, and touring bike comfort when you snap on the luggage. It really is the ideal bike for me because I enjoy long distance touring but also want the light weight agility of a sportbike on the twisties.

Cbr125 because its cheap on insurance. Gives me the opportunity to use the difference for gears and bitches

Ridding a Honda Valkyrie.....yes that is the biggest cruiser engine as it has a 6 cylinders 6 carbs 1500cc 107hp, fun is unlimited.

May up grade to a gold wing...still thinking.

On the scooter yes, in the PT Cruiser, not a chance in hell! lol

Believe me, I would rather ride a scooter than drive a pt...it also was free tho...lol
And it fits my 174lb dog nicely

I RIDE A DR650 and WHY NOT?

I'll be riding a flat black vstar.
Because of insurance and SOA.

LMAO. jk. Nothing to do with soa, I wanted a Harley since I was 4 when I took off in a parking lot and my rents found me on top of one. I just cant afford insurance on one. Trust me I tried.
