What did you do to your Race/Track Bike today - 2014

Yes, I did that as soon as I was able to last summer. Luckily the wheel is still perfectly true, only the one rotor was damaged.

I hate routing cables. For some reason they're never as smooth as they were before I took them off.

...and I always seem to end up with bikes that have the throttle body cam on the end, right against the frame.

I actually changed the routing of my clutch and throttle cables from stock to make them better/smoother.

Kawi should hire me. Cable routing engineer. Fat stacks!!

Lol. Well mine we routed incorrectly anyway. Under the fairing stay then over the rad/under the frame resulting in the cable housings near the throttle snapping and throttle cables pinching and sticking on while turning the bars left. Lol. Routed over the fairing stay and through the frame. Now no issues

Brembo master swapped off old bike and onto the new bike. Spark plugs, air filter, PC3. Bodywork repaired, painted and back on. Dyno time

Head installed, cams installed, case covers installed.

Later today I'll install the exhaust and cylinder head cover, throttle bodies and start routing the Kit harness with ECU. I also have to undo the work I did to the RH handlebar switch harness (my DIY keyless ignition).

Got the broken bolt removed from the Gsxr motor. I had a "mobile bolt extractor" remove it for $60, took him 15min!

Motor is once again back in the frame and started connecting the electronics. What a mess of stuff having an oem harness with a bazzaz. I don't know how I'm going to make this look neat.

I didn't think I'd be able to get the gas tank on after installing it.

I cut 4lbs removing the Bazzaz and 5lbs removing all the zip ties that kept it tidy.

Oh that will make a big difference then, I bet you'll feel that just pushing the bike around!

Motor is whole again, throttle bodies and airbox installed, exhaust installed.

I have ditched the rear half of the subframe undertray and the big bulky bracket that the rear fender and plate bracket mount to. I will need to fab up a bracket of some sort to mount the tip over sensor and atmospheric pressure sensor. I've got an idea! Then once the kill switch is fixed I should be able to put the battery in and start some initial set up work with the Kit ECU.

Hope someone in here can help: Who sells these grub screws and doesn't charge $70 for shipping?
