What did you do in your garage today..?

Back in the day they had Rum Runners…MP could be the neighbourhood Limoncello Runner . #sidehustle

I’m sure I could (illegally) sell the Limoncello and Grapefruit variety with no issues lol.

Every time I brought it out the first issue is that it goes too fast!

Last year camping the 4 of us knocked a 750mL bottle off in 20min….

Needed a small amount of gas, so decided to check if I still had a man card by siphoning gas out of the bike using the good ole "suck on a tube and have great timing" method. Nailed it, with no furious spitting afterwards.

Tried that on the snowblower before storing it for winter. Almost puked my guts out.

Man card revoked. I’ll just run it dry during the week. Pumped most of it out by the siphon pump.

I use a clear length of tubing so you can see where the gas is in the tubing.

Wife trying to tell you something... either you need to go out running more, or you will be going out running...
Why not both? LoL

Honestly the trailers we have are great, but totally garbage on anything worse than smooth pavement/gravel. This new one will change things nicely.

So now we have:
- stroller for the street
- stroller for 'off-pavement'
- chariot behind the bike

Too much junk in the house...time to start clearing things out.

Bought one of these shaker siphon hoses about 15 years ago at one of the bike shows and still works perfect.

Took the passenger pegs off the new bike, cleans it up a bit. As soon as the warranty is up I’ll be getting rid of the massive oem exhaust which should clean it up even more.
Any good suggestions for bar-end mirrors?

I never had to empty my snowblower's tank. Shell premium (ethanol free) gas from day one, dab of fuel stabilizer, full tank in March and it fires on the first pull every winter. 17 years and counting on my Ariens blower. Same thing with my 20 y/o lawnmower.

Neat. Is the tubing stiff when its cold?
Good question!
And yes it totally is stiff now that it's so old. When I first got it, the tubing was pretty flexible, but it's been rolled up in the same position for so long now that it's a bit harder to straighten out.

I used it about 3 weeks ago to get the 2yr old gas out of one bike and put it into my wife's car. It was pretty cold out too, so that certainly didn't help. I'm sure if I was using it in warmer weather, it would be much easier to straighten out. Either way, it only added a minute onto the job, so not a big deal.

^ "Are we still talking about tubing?"

Yes, I know what you mean, I feel the same way sometimes..........

Me too, must be old age creeping up on me. I'm looking forward to warmer weather too.

Some decent weather and some time to spend in the garage. Finally got the new brake rotor installed. I took it to a guy. No heat needed, watched him remove it so I should be able to next time.

Ohh shiny!

And now this again.... stupid bracket around main headlamp broke at a different spot then last time.

JB weld to the rescue again. As you can see the opposite side is still holding on!

I may have found a replacement part for this bracket. But will try this first and see how it goes.

Maybe have a new one 3D printed? Some dudes on here may be looking for a project.
