What did you do in your garage today..?

Fall is when I do most of my dirtbike maintenance. Pulled the tank, air filter, battery, etc and giving it a clean and inspection of the places I don’t usually see. I’ll grease the rear linkage as well.
I think my oem lithium battery might be done as it seems to go dead after a week of sitting (works fine during the day of riding after I kickstart it though). 7yrs is pretty good life I guess.
Man... spotless!

New plastics are ordered, and a cheap graphics kit.

I might take the exhaust off; a friend is going to help me heat it and pop the dents out under pressure.

Head bearings got greased up a week ago. Linkage and swingarm bearings need to be cleaned and repacked.

Sadly, given the forecast the snowblower has been moved from storage to the garage. A few more things to organize and the vehicles can move inside for the winter.

Final raking and general clean up in garage done today + changed bike and lawn mower oil. Depending on weather next couple of days lawn to be fertilized, seeded and then the remainder of the summer stuff either brought to basement or stored away in shed. Bike tucked away in corner of garage, covered and a few mouse traps laid out. Last thing is to pull snowblower and winter stuff from shed.

I'll have to put the blade on the tractor soon I don't think I'll have the UTV ready to plow snow before the snow falls

Sure wish I had a Maverick to go grab my snowblower from the cottage….doubtful it’ll fit in the GTI or Odyssey.

Snowblower into the bed of a modern truck is a pain as they are so high. Why did you put the trailer away before you had it home? If you can take the handle/panel off (detach and lay back), it may go in the back of the odyssey.

EDIT:
This one has a split around the top of the chute. Odyssey is probably tall enough with the handle dropped.

Laying it down will 100% leak fuel.

May take dad’s truck. Trailer is a pain for the blower.

Like clockwork from dad ‘hey, going to cottage to pick up snowblower wanna go?’

Took 20 years but this text used to be on Saturday mornings at 6:45 as he preps to leave at 7am…

Tried putting on a gen3 radiator guard on my newly bought gen 4 MT09, turns out they changed the radiator assembly quite a bit including horn location. Struggled for an hour because I over torqued and stripped one of the bolt. Lots of curses and hammering has happened today. I have to go get my new bolts at snow city cycle later lol. But hey, the radiator guard is attached now so it's pretty cool.

Aside from those great Costco LED lights I have I was thinking of picking up a couple of these for $15.

Seems like a good deal. Anyone have these? Work well?

I don't have those specific ones but I know where there are a bunch of similar lights installed and they haven't had issues. The bendy paddles help in some situations but are mostly a gimmick imo. I bought one for my parents with a motion detector as their laundry room light was unswitched so you had to wander through the dark to pull the chain. They are very happy with the improvement. Bonus points for the light not being left on with nobody around.

Looks like I'm going to CT tonight to pick up 1 or 2 of these. Would be great for the shed.
Sheesh, I was just there yesterday. I need these as part of the garage are dark and need some lighting.

If you go there pick up the windshield washer fluid 4 for $9.99. At least that was yesterday.

Depends on the size of your area if the Noma ones will be a good fit. I use these ones from Amazon (it's a 2-pack so will be same price as CT's sale if you're needing 2). 18,000LM compared to the 8,000LM Noma ones. I have 4 in a 1200ish sqft area and it's perfect.

Ewww. 6500K. Everything in my house is 2700 (sadly undercabinet lights are 3000 as I couldn't get 2700) and the garage is 5000K. I highly dislike higher colour temps. I am impressed at the amount of watts and lumens those lights pump out though. Most of the rooms these would be installed in don't have many fixtures.

Perfect, I ordered 2 ea or 4 in total.

Amazon limited quantity to 1 pack only, so I had to place 2 orders.

I'm looking for max brightness, so 6500k is OK for me.
