What did you do in your garage today..?

Give Peak performance a shot as well (Gary in Oakville is my go-to now). Honestly after buying 3 bikes at GP and seeing customer service go down hill you'll find Peak a breath of fresh air (they were also $3k cheaper than GP for my 23 1290R btw).
You mean Peak Powersports right? Haven't been to Oakville, but I was very happy with the help I got at the service desk in Barrie. Young lady at the counter went way out of her way to help me find a tiny something that I needed and couldn't find anywhere else.

That is correct. Not only was the purchasing negotiations quick and painless but the day of the pick up was amazing (salesman was waiting for me and said hello the second I walked through the door, bike waiting in service area, took plenty of time to go over everything with me without me asking and had the KTM technician come say hello and point out a few things as well). Even offered to help us load it.
Compare that with GP who had the Ducati I purchased sitting outside with a dead battery when I was scheduled to pick it up, and when I bought the Honda I had to track down and wait for the salesman then wait another 30mins for them to push it out from somewhere in back while they had me wait outside. Called them ready to buy a new KTM 300 they said they don't have any and said they'd find a date for the next delivery and never called me back so I just bought elsewhere the following week. $200 more expensive for a pair of boots I called about late-Summer with no interest in budging so again I bought elsewhere. I could go on.
Anywho, yeah give Peak a shout just for comparison. Best of luck with whichever it is you're looking at.

I'd skip the tarp and just spray it down with a can of WD40, Crown, or the best IMO is RustProof 3000 (TSC or CT stores).

Yeah me too. I'm not the first one to start feeling this way about them after may years of supporting them though.

I realized the four bolts on the back of my Wing tach have the same bolt centers, so I was able to rotate it almost 90 degrees in the bracket I had made. Now 12 0clock is just shy of redline.
Also found my old stainless brake lines, so full speed ahead with the stoppers.

Installed the mini skirt on the trailer.

Wondering if I should get a full length gown for it instead.

I can’t thank @oioioi he sourced it, picked it up, and dropped it off.

I don’t care what anyone says about him the man is awesome!
:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I don't care what they say about me either.
I found you 2 great deals this week. Just please don't tell your wife I had any part in brining this new "junk" home.

Next week, we find you a great deal on a Maverick, then a V-Strom. Oh, wait.......... I already did find you several V-Stroms.

Remember, what we agreed to. You sell any of these great deals, the profit is mine. ;) 😁

Just kidding. No worries, I'm Happy to help out when I can.

I’m just not gonna tell you what else I’m looking for. You’ve got a knack for finding stupidly good deals.

6ft scaffold with outriggers - $150
Motorcycle lift - $250

How can one pass those numbers up!?

That's a polite way of putting it.TY.
I would word it differently. I'm price conscious cheap. :ROFLMAO:

I don't want to rain on anyone's parade, but hasn't Ford had a ton of issues with its EcoBoost engine in general, in particular the small displacement turbocharged ones? Maybe Ford has fixed this, but you might want to check this out.

I can't speak for the smaller ones, but the 3.5 is about as reliable as any truck motor out there. There may have been some teething issues in the first MY, but those have long since been ironed out. I have had F-150's with both the 3.5 and the recent V8, and I would take the 3.5 if I was buying a new one. Lots more torque, similar power, slightly better fuel economy (ecoboost is either eco or boost, never both), lots less weight.

The 3.5 has been around long enough that they've got the bugs out of it. Not so, the little ones. Stay away from the 3 cylinder ones!

Yes, I heard the 1.3 L turbocharged three cylinder is a terrible engine, the 1.5. 4cylinder not so great either. I thought I had heard negative things about the 2 L turbo.

The Maverick sub I’m on hasnt brought up any issues with the 2.0 ecoboost. The hybrids have some issues, but nothing specific to the 2.0 that I’ve seen.

Not regarding the 2.0, but generally speaking, I've watched a lot of videos by this guy. I find them to be entertaining and educational. I may or may not have seen this one; I've seen so many I don't remember. I just picked it to give you a link.

BTW, if you really want a Maverick, I know a guy with a used blue one who would sell it for a fair price.
