When you first throw a leg over the Tenere, it looks really big. But once underway the bike feels very nimble. The dry sump motor and trans design keeps the weight low.Wow! looks like the airbox hoovers up a lot of the space.

Shed is freakin' cold... tools feel even colder.
The current Princess Auto flyer has this BBQ tank-mounted propane heater on sale for $32 with free shipping, and they're throwing in a can of WD-40 Specialist Rust Release Penetrant Spray on all online orders.
If I go that route, I'd buy one designed for heating framed houses during construction. Had one we called "the afterburner". Had a blower fan and threw out lots of heat. It'd be a legit business expense. The current Princess Auto flyer has this BBQ tank-mounted propane heater on sale for $32 with free shipping, and they're throwing in a can of WD-40 Specialist Rust Release Penetrant Spray on all online orders.
Nice find.
Wants to charge me $8 shipping.
I have a soft spot for laced wheels, haven't built one for a while but will be rehooping a pair for a 920R I decided to butcher.Laced a set of wheels for a buddy ..
Damn. Such a nice looking bike. The new owner will be lucky to get it. I guess it did what it needed to and now you are looking for something more suitable for two-up?Worked on my 1200 Tenere a bit more. Getting it ready to sell.
The Tenere played a big part in me dealing with grief, which will never go away. I don't need a reminder every time i open the garage door. Same goes for redecorating the house.Damn. I put in my order for my new wheels today.
The order just went into the Kazakhstan factory. I placed the order with all the options i want. They are able to build them to very specific details. I want undercoated/colour matched fenders and sidecar and colour matched rider windshield trim. Blacked out (powdercoat) engine, drivetrain. Etc etc etc etc. When do you get to pick it up?
Can you do factory pickup and then give it back to them for shipping? Booting around Kazakhstan with the squeeze sounds like a fun summer. The order just went into the Kazakhstan factory. There are about 50 different colour options. 20 different camouflage ones.
With all that customization I tend to think he/she will be a keeper for long term? The order just went into the Kazakhstan factory. I placed the order with all the options i want. That would be really cool! I have a lot of trials riding and jumping planned. In between travel down south, out west and then east for fall colors later. The Ural won't see big kms. Sunday morning rides with Bernadette wrapped in a big furry blanket. Can you do factory pickup and then give it back to them for shipping? I always say I'm going to keep a bike for a long time. The wing was the longest. 16 years. Who knows? One day at a time! With all that customization I tend to think he/she will be a keeper for long term?
Was it ordered from the place in Acton?
