Good point.. I just don't like to wear anything I wouldn't be wearing if I ever had to pick up and head for the hills. Mosin is a bit of a conundrum.. It can be used as a battle rifle, in which case pinpoint accuracy isn't an absolute necessity and it can be used as a precision rifle, in which case you would not be firing strings of 20 shots at a time. With that being said, your gun, you decide how you shoot it :)

Good news for all you shooters of AR's, T97's, Tavors and anything else that takes STANAG mags.. Press Check Ventures just released their Generation 2 .50 Beowulf mags. They are 100% legal and will reliably feed 5 rounds of .50 Beowulf caliber or 15 rounds of .223rem/5.56NATO :cool: http://presscheckventures.3dcartstores.com/PCV-50-Gen2_p_8.html

Lol I'll sell you a couple, seen some use, still feed just fine, $15 a pop :p With 3 PCV mags, I can run most IPSC stages on our side of the border, still will be left with a couple of LAR mags just in case and for any 5rd sports like CQB, I got plenty of p-mags.

Also fired a few slugs out of her today.. No complaints :) The sling is a temporary fixture for this weekend (doing more of an sd/hd oriented shoot). After that, she'll be moved to the AR.

Interesting, yes, but it's for a 120mm motar... I'm a direct fire kinda guy.

At any rate, should you or anyone happen to see a 25mm ammo can for the M242 Bushmaster cannon, I'd love to pick one up to display my linked casings;

I don't recall seeing a 20mm but those look awfully familiar. I 'll keep an eye out next time I'm there. However, I did see a 40mm.

I saw those 40mm grenade boxes when I picked up my 105mm crate as they're quite similar and I thought it may be 25mm. Thanks for keeping an eye out.

That reminds me I need to remount the trs-25 on my AR. Needed a magnified scope for a match that went out to 300yds, Now I'm back to CQB-style shooting, so an rds makes more sense and the magnified scope needs to go in for a warranty repair or replacement.

Shot the Springfield XD today. Not too impressed with that gun. It was top heavy, so unbalanced.

I also had high expectations for the cz75. Maybe I wasn't familiar with it but didn't like how it functioned.

Love the 1911 except it was single stack mag
