Good point.. I just don't like to wear anything I wouldn't be wearing if I ever had to pick up and head for the hills. Mosin is a bit of a conundrum.. It can be used as a battle rifle, in which case pinpoint accuracy isn't an absolute necessity and it can be used as a precision rifle, in which case you would not be firing strings of 20 shots at a time. With that being said, your gun, you decide how you shoot it
Aye, maybe the ol' shoulder will get accustomed to it. But I pose a conundrum to you. What is worse for my accuracy - me wincing (and probably flinching) like a ***** every shot after 20 rounds, or a little padding on the shoulder?
