TV shows currently watching

I'll watch that next but engaged in Faraway Downs which really shines as a series over Australia stand alone movie which was a mess.
The story line is clear and the attack on Darwin which was devastating is very well done.
Leaving aside Baz' overindulgence in melodramatics - it's engaging....star power doesn't hurt and Nullah is the real star.
Serious effort to recraft this into an engaging series. 🍿 I enjoyed it.
David Gallipoli was perfect as King George...Nullahs grandfather. What a loss his death is.

What a powerhouse actor he remains in his legacy of movies.

Finished up Star Trek Lower Decks S5 - was great, too bad the series is over.

Also Yellowstone S5 last half - felt all over the place, ended kind how you expected with out Costner, who really tied the show together, without him it wasn't quite the same.

I hate to see "Lower Decks" go but better on a high note, than dragging it out until everyone is sick of it. And perhaps we'll get another animated show to replace it, now that it's been a proven performer.

Just finished LaPalma. Not bad except for the last episode sucking huge.

Finally something great on Prime.
If you loved “Love Death + Robots” on Netflix AND play video games then you’ll love Prime’s new anthology series
Secret Level.
I just wish episodes were longer and more of them :)
Also check the voice cast - Arnie and Keanu and many ohter famous actors..

After finishing ST Lower Decks, had to go back and watch ST Strange New Worlds S2e7, the cross over one. with STLD.
Fun, great episode!

Since I'm in a bit of a lull waiting for several series to wrap up so I can binge. I might re-watch The Orville.

I've rewatched "The Orville" maybe three times now. Never gets old. For not being Star Trek it was the best trek since DS9, until "Strange New Worlds" came along. Now it's tied for best ;)

It really did, few episodes in with characters bouncing between Montana & Texas like it's a drive from Toronto to Barrie.

Stay Close on Netflix was very good. British police story. First episode hard to get into but then it is good .
Wife started watching this since I had no interest. Then I walked past about 3 episodes in and got hooked. Don't even think I needed the back story, as I caught up pretty quickly without having to ask her (too many) annoying questions. Now I want to watch some of the other shows based on the same author's other books.
