If it's like so much else that's Apple then they likely stole it from someone else and slapped a new coat of paint on it.
It’s the exact same kind of formula as Ted Lasso complete with one of the main characters from that series. Harrison Ford is what saves it.

Happy Valley is a fantastic series. Multiple award winner.

Silo is excellent. Really good world building and quite a few unexpected twists too.

Rob : Pretty broad brush ...what's your basis for that statement? 🍿
You'll find that many things, claimed by Apple, were released by other manufacturers before Apple did. Sometimes LONG before.

Specifically, when it comes to iPhone, Apple cribbed several features from both Android and Windows Phones. I miss my Windows Phone :(

I thought this was going to be about Apple's media/content efforts. Like the movie they produced CODA, great and all, but I never knew it was a remake of a French film.

I guess you are not an Apple fan. They have there place/uses.
Not to derail this thread further, as it's one of the better ones around here, Android was born out of the efforts to create a web browser at Apple, which is why Schmit, who ran Google at the time was asked, or let go from the Apple board. The gist, most people copy/influenced from one another, the real win is in the execution.

Pablo said it best "Good artists copy, great artists steal".

That article in no way shows that Apple claimed to be the inventor. Jobs did his share of distortion reality spinning but all those links in that 10 year old article were well known as part of Apple history.
For instance Apple Music ...there were many previous attempts....none commercially viable and acceptable to the artists.
The story behind SPOTIFY is a really good docu.

Gates didn't even own an OS when he pitched it to IBM

Then of course there is Samsung who has paid Apple a healthy chunk for copying.

Specifically to AppleTV - I'm not that fond of the interface. I do like some of the films they foster.
CODA in particular which won the Oscar for Best Picture.

Started watching this today. 2 episodes in, and so far so good:

I loved the original movie as a kid. Tempted to rewatch, but at the same time not not willing to risk ruining the nostalgia.

The 1997 version on its own would have been OK, but as a remake of the original it was disappointing:

Finished it last night. All I can say is - WOW. It just kept getting better and better, especially if you watched both movie versions.
