For anyone with Britbox or equivalent, check out Sherwood. Fantastic portrayal of a community near Nottingham still deeply scarred by the labour disputes of the '80s, and very loosely based on true events. So many great UK actors just killing it, too.

There's some murder, but it's weirdly secondary to unraveling the secrets and pasts of a web of people throughout a small community. We're still two episodes away from finishing the series, but I've been told it finishes strong.

Didn't scroll back - but just binged a show on Disney+ in two days... "Dopesick" - a mostly true telling of the OxyContin story, from development to the downfall of Perdue pharma...

8 x 1hr episodes - and it was amazing!

Good look at the Northern Territory and Northern Queensland ( FNQ ) Australia where I am and some problem crocs. Surprising what lurks in a small billabong
Partner used to muster beef via helicopter in the area
Crocs have recovered from a low of 3,000 prior to the hunting ban - now 150,000 and climbing.
It's in 4k too - excellent production values. 🍿

Dahmer is so good….7 episodes in and the only reason I don’t binge is cause kids are sick and I know I won’t sleep all night anyway.

Can’t wait to finish it off. Great show. Too bad it’s based on reality.

still enjoying 1883, but the romanticized frontier crap is pretty cheesy.

"its dangerous out here with all them snakes and scorpions" - Chick on the show
"Let me prance around in this giant brides dress " - Same chick on the show.

its good filler

checkout The Old Man, whoever recommended it deserves a burger.

Ep 8 of Rings of Power - maybe it's just that I haven't read the books or just don't understand it as well but I had to google what the details of this episode meant because I didn't get it.
Like I thought the Elves were all going to die because their tree was dying so how does having the 3 rings make that all better now.

Reading the books wouldn't have helped, because that part is invented for the show.

Simple answer to your question:

What we do in The Shadows, was great, BTW it was season 4, not 3
Always feels like there wasn't enough episodes.
Couple real standouts were the Wedding and The Flip it, just crazy good.

Just getting into Rings of Power.
Wow visually stunning for a TV show, lots of subtle imagery. The writing is also very eloquent as well. Sometimes it's too much dialogue.
So far so good.

We just started Season 4. It's such a good show. I liked the original movie and was skeptical they could make a decent show out of it, but the show has ended up being way better than the movie. If anyone is looking, we watch via the FX on-demand channel through Cogeco.

If you want even more deadpan Kiwi humour, Wellington Paranormal is also good, though drier and the highs aren't as high...

Kids in the Hall return on Amazon has been a trip. Now I want to watch the back catalog again.

Canada’s Monty Python Troop does not disappoint. But it’s certainly not everyone’s cuppa.
