Does anyone have a set with the speakers built in? I am not a fan of the cardo speakers in my helmet. Is one company at the show preferred over the other or are they basically the same?When I had mine done (twice) this was the set up used.

I am convinced that the "medical material" is dental impression material. 2 Part tube that squeezes out using a special gun. I asked if it is the same but I was told it is not, but I am not convinced that it is not.
I have access to the dental impression material and was thinking of trying it out but I can't find a volunteer to allow me to squirt a bunch of jelly into their ear.
I think some companies (maybe even Big Ear) send out a kit to your house so you can make your own impression. You then send the impression to them and they make the custom plugs with filters or speakers.
This stuff dries almost instantly.
The only additional thing that was done my my earplugs once they cured, they were dipped in a clear coating to seal them better.
What do you plan on listening to through the ear plug speakers?
If you plan on hooking it up to your Cardo than you will need to make sure the connector is the same as the one cardo uses. Its like a mini or micro headphone jack if I remember correctly.
Unless you are planning on running it with your phone.
No sure if pone company is better then the other. One is probably more local but both will need to send your impression away for the speakers to be fitted in.

Listening to music. Will the build in ones plug into the cardo?
I'm guessing only if you request the connector to be the same as the cardo one. Or there may need to be an adapter for it.

Just watched it! Guy has lots of energy. Not sure he had a real solution or I misunderstood? He said I can buy some really fancy set up and connect it one of many ways to my cardo but really expensive. Or I can buy his ear plugs?

I am going to get some custom plugs made regardless. I will look for him tomorrow, energy should be low on friday!

I have speakers and they are awesome. I got them from Nu-Life Hearing at one of the shows about 4 years ago. They will be at this show. Stop by and see Ryan, he's awesome.

Curious to how it compares to the January show. I haven't been to this one for at least 10 years
I will be there tomorrow, so i don't know yet.
But typically this is the bigger OEM Mfg centered show. A lot more bikes, new models and usually more gear vendors in person.

Was at the show today. Much better then last year. Bigger. Wallet is $1500 lighter. The wife and I picked up some new ridding gear. Liberty Commons for lunch. They are a 12 minute walk from the parking lot. Get the stout, thank me after.
