The made in Germany Capri was the Euro version of the Mustang... same type of degen bought 'em.
It had a nifty V4 motor, that was only about 24" long... but I don't think it was ever made in the UK, only sold there... to chavs

1st gen. Pony car, maybe. Their DNA was closer to a 240Z, IMO.

Can someone explain FOX body??
Google is your friend, do not be afraid....

What does Fox Body mean on a Mustang?

Ford made this scruffy 'Stang for eons in car-life terms, from 1979 to 1993. It was named “Fox-body” because it was built on Ford's “fox” platform that underpinned multiple coupes and sedans for decades for Ford, Mercury, and Lincoln. The model was so affordable that Ford sold more than 2.6 million in total.May 7, 2020

Thanks. Thought it was something like "body by Fisher"

GM and Mopar use letters. Caprice/impala was a "A" body, Grande Prix/Cutlass/Monte WAS "B", then "G". Dodge Darts were "A", Coronets/Charger/Monaco were a "B" (IIRC).
Ford uses little furry animal names... like Fox body or Coyote motors

What I meant was the Capri was marketed to same group/demographic as the Mustang.
The Capri was sold to Chav's and Assi's, the Mustang was sold to Degens
I don't think the 240Z was marketed to Chavs, but the 300 was, and the 350 defined Chav, like later BMW3s.
The first Mustangs were built on the Falcon platform, the Capri was a design platform of it's own (wasn't it designed by Ghia?). The Capri wasn't an econo box like a Pinto, it was supposed to be sporty like the Mustang (the Mustang was never "sporty". Muscle car: sure... but it was just an econo box with a big motor. The Capri WAS actually kinda "sporty").

In terms of being back to the thread, decent beginner bike in nice looking shape, albeit in miles.

Lack of front fender, would that not affect the stability of the front forks?
And what about said fender for certification?
