Yeah... I would think trying to repair that fairing would be more trouble than it's worth, better to replace it for a few hundred I think. I can't be sure there isn't more damage from the terrible pictures, but I can tell it's been sitting out in the weather a while. I hope he's looking forward to the catharsis of making good on his threat because I would just go to one of the other 250Rs for sale instead

Wasn't saying it's impossible. But if the bikes tires were clearly at the end of it's life on those rock hard OEM tires, the 2300km speedo on a 2013 is more than likely ********.

Left handlebar looks bent too. They're $130-ish new. Can be found used for $40.

Yeah that's a sweet deal, full luggage and all. The mileage is nothing for that bike.

Does anyone know when FI was introduced on the bandit?

I thought when they increased displacement from 600 to 650 they àdded FI

I think there were a couple years of an air-cooled 650. If it's water cooled then it has FI
 
05 and 06 were 650 air/oil cooled and carbureted. 07 was the first year for liquid cooling and fuel injection.
Don't let it bug you, my wife's 600 and my 1200 bandit always fired right away, no hesitation.

^^^this. I have ridden my 05 650 out to Kelowna and down to Florida. It is my current commuter. Pretty much bulletproof they are.
