Barf. I wouldnt want that for 17.99. What is he covering up at six oclock? Is it engraved with something equally disgusting?

Maybe serial number? but AFAIK, Rolex doesn't put their serial numbers there. mine isn't at least.Barf. I wouldnt want that for 17.99. What is he covering up at six oclock? Is it engraved with something equally disgusting?
It is the serial number location that is blacked out on that mess of a watch. On a modern Rolex the serial number is at 6 on the inside of the bezel. Laser etched.Maybe serial number? but AFAIK, Rolex doesn't put their serial numbers there. mine isn't at least.
Mission accomplished, new NATO strap in from the UK, thanks to a fellow GTAM member!Kicking myself for not thinking of this earlier.... just coming to me today for obvious reasons.
There were some strap sellers (Canada/US) selling Ukraine (Blue/Yellow) NATO straps with profits going to the red cross, found references to them on forums looking today. They had them last year, now they don't (all out I guess). There is still a UK seller but they want $40 to ship a strap from the UK (more than the strap)!
If anyone finds one with reasonable shipping let me know. I have a blue SMP that needs one in 20mm....
Gorgeous watch! I like the colours on the band also.
Grand Seikos are watches that pictures and videos do not do justice.I love spring drive just for the sheer insanity of it. Complexity of an automatic with the precision of quartz. Still, not 'better' than solar or Eco-Drive except that it's a lot more interesting. Grand Seikos have a very Japanese elegance, too.
It's definitely something unique about the brand, and I agree. If I do end up spending a bit (lot) larger than my usual $600 CAD cap, it'll be on a dress watch, and GS is up there.I would only get a Grand Seiko if it was a spring drive.
Smoothest second hand sweep in the business IMOI love spring drive just for the sheer insanity of it. Complexity of an automatic with the precision of quartz.
Their “rice paper” dials are sublime.Grand Seikos have a very Japanese elegance, too.
No need to waste money on box and papers unless the sole intent is to defraud someone at some point. If someone wants to convince themself that they want a cheap one to wear, they dont need the box and would rather save money by not having it.Replica of a replica.

Are you allowed to sell fakes on fb? They have some interesting rules. A friend was trying to sell a breast pump and that was a hard no from fb. Had to advertise it as a water gun and scribble all over the picture to throw off the image recognition.Gone!
