The Official Ongoing Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

If I'm not working, I'm in for one or both of those! Maybe we can convince a few of the booth-bunnies to join us too.....:D

I knew this guy was cool when i met you! Good thought!

Booth bunnies absolutely rock... some of them are stunning, some not quite so much, but still tasty.... hehehehe...

Long Live the Booth Bunny!! (even if they don't have a clue as to what they're promoting and are bright as half way burnt out 12 watt bulbs)

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Which show is the good one for buying gear and accessories?

January show at the International Centre. The one is December is the manufacturer's show - so, if you want to see all the new bikes from each company, that's the place to go. The January show has a bazillion vendors, a custom bike show, some of the new models as well - it's MUCH more focused on aftermarket upgrades, gear and used bikes.

The March show at the International Centre is apparently about 1/3rd the size of the January show, and is a waste of time (according to several of my friends who've been).

January show at the International Centre.

That's what I thought, but that last time I bought a lot of gear at a show was 2003. ;) Thanks for confirming!

So, I'll be going to the January show then. haha...

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Actually Kawi has pulled out of the Dec. show and will be at the Jan. show instead. Looks like the Dec. show could be in trouble if the others pull out.

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

I remember that's the way it used to be. EVERYTHING was at the January show. The shows split, and the ticket price continued to go up for smaller shows...

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

im in for whichever show ,,also in for beer and wings...also in for the bunnies :)

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Where can I find info on the Jan show? dates, times, place etc... Can find the Dec one ;-/

Thanks

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

I'm out for Dec Show...Wife's Christmas party is the Friday, and Saturday we are having my son's birthday party and on Sun my daughter's b-day party. Damn kids ruin everything.

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

You can count me in for the January show, I was planning on that one too!

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Any one going to the Dec show on the Friday?

The wife and I have the day off and were thinking of going down. Is it worth the look or would you not bother?

Opinions guys and gals.

Thanks

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

I fly back from Nashville head office the Friday night 9:30 pm was planning on hitting the show saturday morning just to see for myself being my first year with a bike.

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Friday is going to be a beautiful day and I'm taking full advantage of it!! :p

Anyone else up for a day long ride? I'll be leaving the Guelph area around 8:15 - 8:30, meeting up with a few people in Goodwood (north-east of Markham) for 10:00ish and then riding all day.
I have to be back in Guelph no later than 5:00, so that's about when we'll be back.
Anyone else up for this, or has everyone put their babies away....
I'll double check here tomorrow up until 8:00pm, but after that I'm assuming nobody else is coming.

Also, saturday is going to be a great day too! I was thinking of a Niagara trip......

Damn! I have a full day at work, meeting in Miss office then up to Aliston to inspect some prototype tires.

I'm riding Saturday if the rain holds?
