The Official Ongoing Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Yay!

Ok, does morning or afternoon work better for everyone?

The wife is in Toronto all day, for I'm good for whenever.

Well when you guys decide a time let me know so I can try for a sitter.
I'm still commuting 2-3 days a week on the bike, I need this company vehicle soon lol.

What are you wearing to keep warm??? I was on the bike today for like 15 mins and it was freezing. I was only in jeans, hoody, and my jacket over top though...:D

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Any one going to the Dec show on the Friday?

The wife and I have the day off and were thinking of going down. Is it worth the look or would you not bother?

I'm off work at 12:30pm on Fridays... I may be able to join you...

This is part of my non-riding too. Have to wear my rain suit over my leathers and then it's hard to move! haha....

I'll think about Saturday... I had a dream last night that I was riding around practicing wheelies so I think my season isn't over. ;)

I have an armoured down filled jacket (kind of like a snowmoblie jacket), either rain pants or my snowboard pants, and boots. I also have lined gloves and grip warmers and everything is windproof, which is the key.

Anybody decide on times for Saturday yet?

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Yes let it warm up a bit cold sucks :(

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Personally I like meeting around noon, due to temperatures.

This.

Meet at Bridge and University for 12:00ish. I'm going to have some chili and coffee, and then we should be ready to roll out about 12:30.
Take mostly nice roads all the way to Niagara, maybe swing by the falls..... Be back some time before or around dark.

Sound good?

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

I should be able to make it. What are you thinking, Waterdown/Snake Rd kind of tour like we did earlier in the season and then boot down to Niagara?

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Pretty much that same route to Waterdown and then add Ridge Rd into the mix before Niagara.
Depending on time, it might be necessary to slab it on the way home.....or most of the way home....we'll see.

Yeah, depending on time I may need to bow out early.

I was out all day yesterday and logged close to 500km's.....I'm okay with a shorter ride today!!
I'd like to keep the time at 12:00 but I'll be heading back to Guelph after a couple of hours, so you'll be back by 4:30ish.
Arnie, I'll text you before I head out.....we can ride to Waterloo together if you want.
