For anyone not in the know...
Angela: "Anyone have any questions?"
no hands or questions...
Angela: "Remember guys, there are no stupid questions..."
Tim: "OK, so I can have your number then?"
silence....
Angela: "OK, no stupid questions, just inappropriate ones!"

This was all kidding around of course....

Racer5 provides a CBR125 for their track courses. It's about $315 or so for their Stage 1 program. If you sign up for stages 1-3 (Thursday to Saturday) you get a big discount, but it's still about $700. Crash liability is limited to $500. So, if you wreck a fairing and peg, it'll probably be $300ish... you completely destroy the bike in an epic crash you pay $500.

I believe you can rent the bikes as well without taking the school, but your liability goes up.

And you say you're not interested in running a track bike - just wait till you touch a knee down for the first time... that's what sealed the deal for me!

For those that took the stage 1 and used their 125, how was it going back to the track on your own bike (assuming it's bigger, like a 600 SS?)

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Shall we move the track discussion over to this thread to avoid polluting the street riding thread again? ;)

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Thanks for the ride guys It was a good pace. To bad the rain had to spoil it. Sorry I had to bail out I didn't want to get soaked.

I will be going to get some rain gear this weekend. I won't have this problem again.

The funny thing never hit any rain on the way home. I jumped onto the 401 and took Homerwatson to the exspressway and never anything. Hope you guys stayed dry.

Thanks for the ride guys

We ended up just heading home as well a couple mins after you as the sky in Paris was looking ugly.

Yeah I can't blame you I've been caught by rain only once and of course it just poured to the point where I was actually scared to even touch the throttle or the brakes. Tonight going home I was hoping and praying that it wouldn't happen again.

If I get a chance I would like to go and sit by the air port and watch some of the planes take off and land. Talk Bout good timing, as we drive by the plane is taking off. Thought that was cool.
