The Official Ongoing Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Nice pictures! Sorry I couldn't make it out to this one. When's the next one? I know it was a date I could make, but I can't remember when....

Also, I'm in for this thursday.....providing my new tire get's here and I can get a shop to install it.....****ing nails!

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Can't make it this Thursday...
Have to referee some 16 year old girls' AA ice hockey at Albert McCormick arena.

Later!

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Dean mentioned that guy to me the other day too. Until then I had never heard of him, and from reading his site I can't find any sort of credentials that would make him a good teacher (not saying he isn't... but he's just telling a life story). Maybe I should teach. haha...

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

The problem I see with this guy is:

"I searched for advanced training courses that were available here in Ontario. the type that keep motorcyclists safe on the road. But none existed! ARC arose from a gap in the training system."

So he was trying to find a course to advance his skill level and couldn't find one so he thought he would teach the course instead of taking it???

I think this is the safety "yut ughh" except he is on kijiji instead of craigslist lol

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

DAMMIT! My tire was slow getting out of Pete's....won't be here until tomorrow or wednesday and I won't have any time to have it installed. Looks like I'm out for this week too!

Yea - we need to start our own school... And don't hate - I learned a lot from "yut ughh" - I keep it set to 1000. lol.

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Question for you guys. I live in Ayr and my ridding buddy is realy short on time due to work and life and junk so im looking for others to ride with. I'm not realy interested in track days so i was wondering when you guys meet at timies do you just hang out or go for rides? (Also were and when?)

Not like the Timmies on Ottawa street in Kitchener filled with just guys looking at their bikes, this group rides. Meet by 6:30 and try to find a route asap and head out.
Its a good group to ride with. 6:30pm on Thursday's at University and Bridge in Waterloo.

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Damn I need to get my new bike rolling. Chain and sprockets are coming from Texas.

Welcome new guy! ;) You do realise that you will always be a noob on a Two50 because of your name, right? haha... It's all good.

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

I'm down this week...no wife or kids to keep oppressing me.

We'll have to see...

My wheel and tire are still at Two Wheel in Guelph....I wont' be able to pick it up until Thursday evening. But I like your idea of showing up later. I think once I re-install the wheel, I'll go for a nice little ride to break in the tire and end at Timmies for around 8. Maybe I'll see you there.

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

I just ordered some tires from Pete's last night. I went to Apex and he checked, their cost is higher than Pete's shipped price. He says Quebec gets tires so cheap that when racers go there they load up before they leave.

Anyway, the work and waiting continues. Chain, sprockets and tires are on their way. Going to do coolant and oil changes this weekend, then should be good to go once I get the parts!

I got my tire from Pete's as well. His price shipped was about $20 less than Two Wheel's price before tax.....

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

This is my first time ordering from Pete's. I just wish he carried race tires.
