The Official Ongoing Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Does anyone know of any good twisties in the KW area? I did most of my riding around Gravenhurst for the past few years.

If your used to up north roads, you are in for a disappointment...

Good ride last night....I headed home at Victoria and Ira Noodles. Tinted visor and darkness don't mix well.

Another tent sale at Royal Distributing, Guelph should be happening sometime this month.

Popped by the Timmie's at Univ/Bridge at 8pm... waited 15 minutes... nobody else showed... oh well...

Everyone kind of broke up and split in the Ira needles area. Was a small group.

+1 for bluestreakracing

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

FYI, the same tires (Pirelli Angel ST's) from Blue Streak are about $50 more than the price I got from Pete's Superbike (that's assuming the same $20 shipping fee). I'm not hacking on Blue Streak, just citing my current shopping reference ;)

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

I have yet to hear a bad thing about Pete's tires

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Bluestreak has free delivery or free install of tire, plus other great deals and not too far. Just my choice.

Ordered the Z8's from petes they are on back order as they have been popular like the rest of the line. The prices on the website are way lower than what the actual price but that's going to be fixed they still gave me a bit of discount for the discrepancy. Still cheaper than the rest of the quotes by miles.

Who's out this Thursday if weather permits?

I think the wifey has to work and I will have the little one so I'm out.

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

My bike is still not together... so I'm out for yet another week. Boo urns...

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Had some tire slippage over the weekend so won't be doing any "exciting" group rides until new tires arrive.

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Well, I'm off in Scotland... and I'm crying the blues... I NEED MY BIKE!!!
We're in the highlands... took some "B" series roads (M are highways, A are double lane roads, B are lesser repaired single track roads with special passing areas every 500 yards or so) that were absolutely fantastic. Twisties like crazy, sheer rock cliffs on the sides, absolutely gorgeous highland scenery...
Really thinking about coming back sometime specifically to ride. Just need to pack rain gear - weather is on a 15-20 minute cycle here.... bizarre...

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

That sounds very awesome, Tim. One of those crazy motorcycle world tours would be a sweet thing to do. I'm going to buy a 6/49 ticket tonight. haha...

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Anyone going to Aminal & Fozzy's BBQ on Sunday Sept. 11?

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Sorry guys I am out for tonight. Sick as a dog. Have a fun and safe ride.
( jerks that go to work sick and get every one else sick )

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Didn't seem like anyone was going out, but I went out by myself...it was a nice night for a ride. Getting dark really quick though.
