The Official Ongoing Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Nick, you mentioned that you have a friend with a 2 bike trailer, would you have access to it for the 26th?

I will ask, should only cost me a two four.

I will let you guys know after sunday.

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Hey Guys... if worst comes to worst, I suppose I could lend you my pick up truck (Ford Ranger). You can load 2 bikes into the back if you're careful about it. Gear would be a tight squeeze and would have to be between the bikes or between the side of the bed and the bikes. It's only a regular cab, so there's no extra room in there.
Just give me a case of beer and we're good...

Wow, very cool dude..... so it's really not true what people say... Bigevildoer is actually a good guy!!
Hey - if you ride babs out to GB on the 26th, I'll let you take the 600 out for a session.

Nick - hope that mf gets back to you soon about the bike.

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

U haul has a motorcycle trailer for $15 in kitchener.

That's what they claim. Apparently the only one available is in Hamilton, and it's been broken for over 2 years now.
You'll get a regular utility trailer, no chock as advertised. Not a big deal, just don't expect a chock!

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

They said it was availible for use last friday but not until 9am when I called them. They said also had the regular trailer for 25 bux, but I have dealt with uhaul before .

I have used one from the fairway u-haul twice last year. It had the wheel chock.

Wow.... I tried getting the one from the downtown Victoria/Charles location and they have me the information I just mentioned... bunch of retards...

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

If you takimg 2 bikes the wheel chock is useless though, as it is in the center of the trailer

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Hey guys. So I started to ride my bike to work today and every time I turn on a blinker it flashed hazards on my dash. When I stopped to shoot the new photo tag and checked and it was barely even flashing the tail lights. When I was done getting the tags and took the bike home and came to work in my cage. I'll try to debug it tonight (likely just a loose connector from track to street swap) and make it for the ride, but don't wait for me if I'm not there...

My buddy and I will be there tonight.

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

I should be there tonight too. Gotta stay late at work, but should be done in time.

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Cool... so where are we headed and who's going to lead?
Any other cool roads in the area we haven't been on as a group yet?

Wow.... imagine that... not all Newfs are schmucks!
May have to take you up on that -- do they make you sign a waiver before heading out on the track? If so, they probably won't like the idea of the rider swap.

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Sounds like a good group for tonight, I'd better get my bike fixed!

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Picking mine up after work. Had a nail in the tire! glad they spotted it. it was leaking.

So the little 250 should be around haha.. everyone else has 600+ I bet.

Lots of twins actually. 1125V, 650V, 650 parallel, and if Steve comes out he might be on his 250, 650 or 1198. haha...

Tonight might be the largest showing of 600 I4's yet.

God forbid if you were to bin it, there would be large **** hitting a large fan. Last week you could have tried someones bike with no issues though, as you were already waived and protected by track insurance.
