Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Just 3 of us last night - Dean, Steve and I.
Kanoodled our way out through Maryhill and into Guelph...
Checked out the Dyno runs at Royal for a bit and went back the same way we came (pretty much). Steve stayed chatting at Royal, Dean and I booked it. Hit Morty's for some wings. Great stuff there!

Speaking of wings...Miltons up near the Charcoal Steak House has some awesome wings and they are half price on Thursdays.

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Let's say 2pm, regular place - Timmy's at University and Bridge.

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Is anyone else from this area planning on going to the memorial ride for Liz this weekend? I'll be leaving 2-up from Guelph around 8:45-9:00ish. If anyone else wants to join me for the ride to Orangeville, I can meet you at the Tim Hortons at Victoria Rd North and Woodlawn Rd East in Guelph.
If nobody posts up, I won't bother stopping there.

Cheers

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

I haven't had much time to get out riding lately... but I had a chance early this morning (was on the road at 8:00) and scored the photo tag. Sorry I didn't try to rally the troops, it was a real last minute chance for a ride. I was only out for about an hour and a half anyway.

So this is exciting, I fixed my turn signal tonight. It wouldn't stay on for right turns. I pulled it apart and found a tiny rock inside that was jamming the slider. Nice. Safety issue resolved.

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Ya, its been a rough week.

Its crazy how rocks and things can sneak into places like that.

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

I was out on the new toy in my garage, 2000 R1 (brother in laws)

Nick wants a litre bike :)

also spotted bigevieldoer blinding me on fisherhallman last night with those 4 HID's :p (was in my bmw)

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

It's amazing how big of a difference there is between 600's and 1000's eh? Even a new 600 vs an older 1000. I really miss my old 929, but damn that bike made me do some stupid things. Now with the $10,000/hr fine I'm leaning more towards smaller bikes for the street. Hence my SV650 with -1f/+2r sprockets. Lets me have fun hammering through the gears without hitting 200 by 3rd. haha...

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.

Hey guys, I've got some Oxford sport saddlebags that I haven't used in years (didn't street ride for years and then they didn't work on my Aprilia with the high pipes) and am planning to sell. I thought I'd ask locally before posting it in the general for sale forum. Anybody interested in them? They're awesome bags and in excellent condition. I was thinking $150 (which I think is about 1/2 price of new, at least back when I bought them).

Only 2 on at night. All 4 is stupid bright, and I'm very conscious of other traffic about them.
Aren't you lucky to know you were in such close vicinity to me though? :)
I guess bonus points for recognizing me are in order.

Otherwise, I have been thinking about angling the lights down a bit. 150w of HID (220w with High Beams on) is an awful lot of light output.

Re: The Official 2011 Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding areas thread.
